I went to thorpes 'febuary half term opening' and can i just say what an utter shambles it was!! most of the main attractions were closed, stealth and colossus were only running 1 train which ment long waits, ther were random piles of rubbish in the park, grafitti and chipped paint on most signs, themeing and atractions, the whole of canada creek and samurai area was closed and half of the resteraunts and shops were closed or had a lack of stock. Nearly every vending machine had a sign on it saying 'out of order' and they didnt have the 2007 park maps yet so they were handing out the 2006 ones or giving you a black and white photocopied sheet of the 2007 map. Also my main worry was that there was random fences, gates and doors that should only be staff acess were left unlocked and wide open. I saw a bunch of kids walking in the fright nights atraction 'The Asylum' building and running round the maze! i was really not impresed. For the amount that you paied to get in it seriously was not worth it and i think thorpe should not consider doing this again next year and concentrate more on getting the park up to scratch and have a proper opening with all attractions up and running and with the park looking as stunning a it usually does! lol phhewww enough said!

There aperntly is a ghost of a old mechaninc in the dark ride 'X No Way Out' at thorpe park. He died by falling off a break platform whilst fixing the ride and now if cast mebers go in the building for maintence or breakdowns, you can hear footsteps, clangs of tools hitting metal and ther has also been ocasions where people on and off the ride have heard a male voice shout "get out! this is mine!" in an angry voice. im not sure on the truth of this story but it certainly got me wondering!

My fav has to be stealth at thorpe park. "Ready to go! Looking good!! 3, 2, 1, GO GO GO!!!! SCREECHHH!!" Then a smoke machine is set off to look like theres a wheelspin on the train then off you fly! Truly awesome! lol
