  1. This really has little to do with WCB, but it involves the screening of Coaster Expedition Volume 12. For those that watched the entire thing, can anyone tell me the name of the song that went along the lines of "Sex Drugs" over and over again? It was probably the most entertaining bit of that AWESOME video. I hope another video is shown next year! It was a great way to unwind and take a break from coasters.
  2. I think I am going to become a Tim Burkhart fanboy now, because he was really awesome. Between his jokes and his casual attitude, he is really a good indication of how approachable SFMM management is. The event was great! I didn't stay for the nighttime ERT, which would have been awesome, but I was just too tired from attending Solace. Also, screening Coaster Expedition Volume 12 was not only a good idea, but I really never knew how funny the videos were until yesterday. Maybe it's time I start watching them. A big thank you to all the organizers and SFMM. I'm looking forward to next year's bash.
  3. I'm interested in either the Deep South or Texas trip, but I doubt I would be able to stay for the entire length of the trip. Is it a possibility to leave any of the trips early? I expect that the answer is yes, especially since I know it will be up to me to get to the airport, pay for transportation, etc. Mainly, I was curious to see if any of your trip-goers have ever left early, and if any of them post on here, to get input on how that worked for them.
  4. I had heard that this stunt show was just a re-hash of the old Batman stunt show. Clearly, the person who told me this was wrong, I just might check it out now. Batman Begins was a great movie, so I'll have to look for a video of the stunt show.
  5. Albert, Nicolas' first shot reminded me of an establishing shot from an epic film, I definitely agree that it was nicely done. I just can't stop watching Paul's Parque de Attractiones video! Everything about the film is perfect! The footage, raw audio, music (very catchy tune), and there is a good balance of coaster/non-coaster activities. It is my undisputed choice for first place. However, I am impressed by all the videos (especially Tom and Julian's entries) and am highly considering entering for next year!
  6. I prefer the streaming video, but only because I'm on broadband, and I have easier access to the videos. Plus, the video worked fine on Firefox. However, people may enjoy downloading them, and I have no problem either way. Personally, I like that on-ride POV's are offered as streams, but I think downloading them makes it more accessible. I'm not sure you want more work, or if you have time, but you can offer both!
  7. Thirty-seven thousand?! So much for bragging about beating Shaun... I only got 8699.50 until that green chick brought my fun to an end. I thought mine was a big deal for all of two seconds.
  8. I never knew Spain had a significant theme park presence aside from Port Aventura. I guess I always understimate Europe and their roller coasters. By the way, the new format with the streaming video is great!
