I have seen it almost stall there also. It was opening day 2004. It wasnt open that day, but with water dummies. I saw them take a few off and it went a little slower. I believe I have a video of it on the computer at my house.
I think its a DQ commercial where the dad tells his kid he can get a new frozen drink if he can make a basket. The kid shoots like 50 times and misses, then the dad takes the basket down and puts it right in front of the kid. Then the kid chucks it right at the guys face...what a retard...it pisses me off everytime I see it
Using the starlight pass to get in for one night, then 2 full days did quite well for me when I went last June. The first night I rode TTD once and MF 4 or so times. The next two days we got in everything more than twice.
On the launch? Crap, that must be insane. Ive held my hands striaght up on HSXLC before and you can feel the force in your shoulder sockets. I dont even want to know what hands up on Dodonpa would be like.
Well, if you ride the front seat, you will get a bit of ejector airtime at the top of the tophat, but then you slow down while the rest of the train hits the top. Then you go over gently. If you sit near the back you get some good airtime on the drop itself like sitting in the back on Xcelerator.
