Kong at Six Flags Marine World. It's a Vekoma SLC, and I remember it scared the crap out of me! I remember hating it after, and being all mad at my dad for taking me on it. (I was 8.) I have no idea why I decided to go on it again, along with others. But now, I totally have a thing for the SLCs!

Blood Falls was the only thing that really scared me last year (the guy that swung out on the rope, I guess near Laughing Dragon/Tatsu, kicked ass), and Globe of Death was cool. Plus the fog, which they really need to turn back on in Batman's station (I just noticed that for the first time last week).
Haha that's the same stuff I did at Fright Fest. I went back in 2003 for my birthday, and we did Blood Falls, watched the Globe of Death, and went in a couple of the scare zones. We got in line for Blood Falls before it opened, so we waited awhile for that, but once it opened the line was only around 20ish minutes if I remember correctly. The ride was obviously the same as when it's Log Jammer, but there's fog all around and a few people jumped out. The only part I didn't like was getting wet on the drop....but hey, it's a water ride! I'm sorry they're not doing this attraction this year.

Yay Julie awesome TR! You got a ton of great pics. I'm glad you had a fun time here in Cali. BTW, glad you finally ate at In N Out!

I knew today would suck from the moment I got up (30 minutes late!). I get to school, it is absolutely freezing out, and well I guess my morning was alright besides the fact I woke up late and it was so cold. But then, school started! (No, this wasn't the first day of school.) First period English, we did so much work it wasn't even funny, and I don't like that teacher. Second period Algebra II is always fun...nothing wrong there. Then comes break. So yesterday my best friend Becca was out, which really isn't like her. So today she looked like she was either going to kill someone and start to cry. Well, turns out her aunt died...so we were all very sad for her. End of break...Spanish 3 Honors. Honest to God, this class so far has seemed much easier than Spanish 2H, until today! She surprises us with a "read this conversation, then I pick 2 students at random to go up in front of the class and have a discussion about a topipc I choose" project! Totally lame! At least mine was good. Ew, then I had Chemistry. So "we" did a lab today about water filtration stuff...I say "we" because I forgot to set up one teeny little part in the paper about it, he marks it incomplete and I get to do a 3 1/2 freakin page report! I swear, that teacher hasn't liked me ever since I laughed when he said "diarrhea". but whatever...lunch comes and my lame friends totally ditch me so I got stuck on campus with my friends. (BTW, by this time my friend who had the aunt die went home because people were f***ing making fun of her for crying!! How lame is that!!!!) Then history....boring class + too much work = not fun. And then, last period P.E.....ghaa!! Of course on the hot days she makes us run the mile! Now yes, I do track so I like to run...but it was just so hot and I felt very dehydrated. Then I come home to my sister being a little brat to me. I really am not having a good day!

This does seem like a nice addition to CP. It probably wouldn't be at the very top of my list, but it still looks fun. I'm personally glad CP has another coaster with inversions...and that 95 degree drop should be awesome!

Happy birthday! Have a good one.

Wow...that is very sad! I used to watch his show all the time. RIP Steve.
His family and friends will be in my prayers.

I don't want to get on anyone's bad side, but even the first post on this page is talking about the drop, so "TopThrillz" didn't even need to read previous pages have some sense that we already knew about the drop.

^ I believe he was talking about Steel Eel being a "hypercoaster".
I voted for Jaguar, it's a nice family coaster. I think it's neat how it goes through MR's loop.

Back on topic, I have to write up an outline for Chemistry over the weekend! Grr, I also have Algebra homework. ..School...

^^ Ride Medusa for me in the back row please!
Three day weekend! I get to go to a party Saturday night! My parents are considering me getting an industrial for my birthday!

^^ About seven days....and not everything from Cedar Point is good. You should see their ice skating pre-show. Have fun on your trip though!

I'll probably check in and out. Award shows like that really don't mean anything to me...just because a bunch of people like the music enough for it to "win" doesn't affect my choice in music at all.

I would also like to say thanks! This really is my favorite coaster site. I love getting home from school, getting on here, and looking at PTRs from people's trips at theme parks, talking in the chat room, etc. I've met many wonderful people on this site as well. You two are both extrmely patient with all of the stuff that goes on this site. Thank you for keeping up this up!

I got my Algebra II book today for school. It's brand new and very nice...BUT of course our school couldn't afford 30-something more books for a class set so everyone has to carry an over 900 page math book all day, every day. Totally lame!

Do you wear speedos?
Last year I did track. My favorite event was the hurdles. I mainly did it so I would feel like I had something to do after school, and not feel completely lazy. It's a lot more work than I thought it would have been, definately not a ride on a roller coaster.

I bet most people have called it The Roller Coaster at NYNY.
Yeah, they might have changed the name for the GP. I know that whe I talk to a lot of my friends about roller coasters and I say something like "Do you like Medusa at SFMW?" they usually say "Which one is that?" or "Is that the green one?" So, maybe this name change was to help it wasier for the GP. I haven't personally been on this, but it doesn't sound like it's a favorite among enthusiasts.

I prefer going up slower rather than being launched. Being shot up didn't do a whole lot for me, plus I usually get more airtime when they just drop from the top.

Are LSM's quieter? I've never been on a full-circut coaster that uses them before.

I find V2 at SFMW (uses LIMs) louder than CA Screamin'.
