Looks like lightning Rod and Mystery Mine have both been closed all day. Wtf

The issue with going at the end of May is that the "Bring A Friend Free" passes that you get with your season passes expire at the end of May. Everyone waits till last minute to use them so its nothing to see the park at or past capacity. I've learned to avoid the park on Weekends in may at all costs. Even the food lines will be 45 minutes. They’ve actually already expired for this year. I think a week or two weeks ago was the last “bring a friend day”

I went a couple years ago on Memorial Day weekend and swore I would never go again at that time. It was terrible.

Dang. Park is struggling today. Lrod closed. MM closed. Firechaser closed.

Back at the park today and it is crowded!!! Spring breakers. And MM is closed yet again. Ride op was out front and I did ask what was wrong with it and the only thing she said “we can’t talk about it right now.” ... umm what?

Dude chill. I don’t know if they are new or not, I was just guessing. And I never said they were removing it. Only said I would be upset if they did. Why so defensive?

It IS testing with water dummies. Maybe new trains that we don’t know about?? I can’t tell if they are new or not. Also, Dragonflier is testing as well and looks awesome!!

It’s just bizarre. Dwood is my home park and I come all the time, I just haven’t seen MM with this much downtime and I know a lot of people would disagree but it IS my favorite ride at the park. I would be so upset if it was removed.

MM has been closed since the park opened for the season two weeks ago. Saw it testing a couple times but never opened. At the park again today and it’s STILL closed. Was going to ask a ride op outside what the issue is but there’s no activity or anyone around. I had posted something on Dollywood’s Facebook page on another persons post about MM being closed and an hour later my comment was deleted. Dollywood messaged me personally and did the whole “guest safety is our top priority” etc. which I totally understand. But still..

Something sketchy is going on with Mystery Mine.

What a joke, oh well. Still going to enjoy my day. Or pick a chair close to the entrance of the que and watch people get pissed off. This coaster isn't worth the stress of not knowing if it isn't going to be open or not.

Just glad I got a ride in Tuesday night, looking like it may be my last ride on rod for the year. Hopefully the closures the last two days have been them trying to add the second train. Who knows.

Went late last night and actually got a ride on before park closing, was so surprised that it feels like a blur. Was not expecting it to continue running after waiting two hours in line but it made it. Kind of surprising it's closed all day today though. Was working fine last night.

Was awesome to see it actually open for a bit today, but now it's back to TC

I don't think any of the RMC conversions have had issues, so I wouldn't be too worried if I were CP. I am really starting to wonder what Dollywood will do if these issues keep happening. How long can they deal with a ride that can't run consistently for more than a couple weeks? What really sucks is you can tell the ride ops are just as frustrated as everyone else, they seemed so miserable the last few times I've gone. It's so disappointing because this was the most excited I've ever been for a new attraction that the park has added. It was hyped up so much, but since they've put it in it's had nothing but issues.. and the hype and thrill of it has just kind of left me. Sure it's a fun coaster but it's hard to look forward to it or get excited about it when it's down 99 percent of the times I've been.. it's just not on my to do list. Which is unfortunate because I'm not the only one who feels this way. A lot of angry people on the tram leaving Friday and Saturday when I was there.

Lrod is a joke at this point, definitely not worth all the stress that comes from worrying about if it's going to be open or not when you go.

The guy out front didn't seem too confident it would be opening anytime soon today, they tested nonstop for about 15 minutes this morning right after 10 and then told everyone in the line they didn't know when it would be opening. I thought one guy was going to lose it. He shouted "worst ride ever" and stormed off lol still a fantastic day at the park without riding rod but still, I've been coming everyday since Thursday evening and yet have gotten a single ride on the thing. It's just disappointing

Last day at the park and rod has been down since opening. This is getting a little frustrating
