Hey guys, can anyone give me a heads up of what the local weather forecasts look like for Saturday? Coming down from Boston (so I know how fickle this early spring storms are) with a bunch of friends for my bachelor party and wanted to spend the day at the park. The weather has looked pretty grim this week and I was hoping for a change and from all I can tell its gotten worse. Thinking about just driving straight to the park Friday and trying to get at least a half day out of it. But with my luck I'll do that and it will fizzle and be nothing.

I'm not a regular to the park as I'm from MA, but have been down to the park a few times over the last couple years. Most recently for the running of the bulls in September. Now am I blind or crazy and losing my mind (most likely true anyways) or did they move the entrance to Kingda Ka up in the last two months? I don't remember it being directly to that snack stand.. I thought it was directly next to the test seat which was next to the lockers..

Made my return trip down to Jersey this past Saturday for my second ROTB event. Fantastic event with fantastic perks. Highlight of my day though was putting my big boy pants on and getting on Zumanjaro. Only drop tower I have successfully conquered was Scream at my home park, SFNE. I can do Ka no problem, but man Zumi is just intimidating. Convinced myself once it got dark I would give it a go (as maybe It wouldn't seem like being so high??). But man it was amazing! What a rush. So amazing I did it twice. So glad I got myself on that thing. If anyone out there is in the same boat just do it!

VR ended in like early June I believe. On my visit on June 20th the whole shed area they built to store all the headsets was completely emptied. I heard they wanted to end it before the summer heat as the phones get more temperamental in the heat. VR on zumie in jersey was also over in early June. Seems like a waste to me. Would hope its a sign that maybe their moving on from the fad but I doubt it.

1) J.B.'s. 2) Panda Express (but no dining plan) 3-98) Literally anywhere else in the park 99) Riverboat Cafe Went to J.B.'s for the first time yesterday. Always wanted to go but its usually packed. Air Conditioned, serves beer but service took forever. You order, they give you a number to bring to the table then bring you your food. But there was one lady taking orders, two girls running food and literally one lady cooking everything. Took a good chunk of time out of our day. On the dining pass, pulled pork over your fries is the best bang for your buck. TON of pork thrown on top of some fries. My beef brisket sandwich was fine but seriously lacking in the amount of meat. There is also a Macho Nacho near the center of the park. Not a Mexican food guy but the lady loves it.

Was there on Friday and when I went on superman they were using one station but running two trains. And had to manually unlock/lock a couple cars in my row at least. Was my first trip to the park. Home park is SFNE and have been to GRAdv a bunch of times. SFOG is definitely the most beautiful of the three and with the nicest employees I've experienced at a six flags park. Goliath is a fantastic hyper. I think I prefer Nitro a tad more but it was great. Mindbender is a gem. Those loops with just a lap at is such a cool experience. Scorcher is definitely much smoother than Green Lantern at GRAdv and maybe that has to do with it being shorter but I definitely liked it better. Daredevil dive is a lot smoother than I thought it would be. That heartline roll at the end is pretty neat. Haven't experienced that before. Thumbs up on Justice League. Great addition. Those two wooden coasters tho.... idkkkkk. Very rough experience for myself. All in all great park and will definitely be stopping by when I'm in the area again.

Hey guys, will be at the park for the first time next Friday while visiting family. Naturally making sure I get a trip into another park while I can. Pumped to get some laps on Goliath, as Nitro is the only other B&M Hyper I've been on and the love that ride. I'm also excited to try out the Justice League ride. I should have access to a flash pass no problem, as I have a connection for that, but my main question is does anyone know if they've announced that Justice League will be on Platinum flash pass only? Many thanks in advance!

While I have no idea why they even opened the park today because of the rain, it was still open and we headed there in the pouring rain. There was about 30 other cars in the parking lot. Did dark knight and skull mountain twice and then found out they were actually running nitro. Rode nitro theee times in a row back seat in legitimate torrential downstairs. It was the most exciting/painful rides I've ever had on a coaster. Also 've never been so soaked in my life.

I have seen people mention this place. I will definitely look into this if the park ends up closing. Edit: Just looked this place up and the one "semi-respectable credit" will be closed today until Friday. . Just my luck. But what is the deal with this place, is it free to walk into and then upcharges for the attractions inside?

Yeah, I was hoping when I looked at the forecast a few days ago that it would likely change, but its not getting much better as it gets closer. And unfortunately I went the cheap route and got a non refundable cheap hotel a month back soooooo any good sightseeing locations in Princeton? Whats the easiest way to see if they announce the park will be closed? The app or website? I have my doubts on the reliability of them putting the message out there.

Hey guys, What is the rain policy at the park regarding the major rides? Im coming from Boston this weekend, planning on hitting up the park Friday and Saturday and the forecast looks to be pretty crappy. Hopeful for some bright spots but that's why I usually plan for two days just in case of crap weather. I know there are a few indoor rides but I was wondering how they handle the major rides in the rain. Appreciate it

I am 5'11 and currently 270. SFNE is my home park and if you fit on Superman you should be fine on El Toro. The restraints are pretty similar. Last year on my trips to Jersey I was 280-285 and still fit on everything no problem, even Toro. Yes they may have to staple you in, but like the other guys have said, its better than not riding, and El Toro is worth it. It is definitely about how your weight is distributed but like I said, if you fit on Superman a SFNE you should be good to to on El Toro. Ole!

Made it out for opening day and Had myself a grand ole six flags day. First time on superman, train stops halfway up the lift. Stuck there for about ten minutes. Maintenance worker came up the stairs to make sure everyone was alright after a few minutes and said it was stopped by the operator. Assuming someone had their phone out? But once we got going, ride was smooth as ever. In the pre-show for Houdini; right as it ends and the doors are to open to let us in the ride someone decides to leave via the emergency exit of the pre-show room. Worker has to then call someone and 5 minutes later tells us we have to watch the pre-show again before the ride can start. One plus was that a couple new(or haven't been in use for years) effects were working in the ride. Such as the keys in the mirrors at the end and Houdini up in the ceiling windows. Trying to comepete with the Jersey version.. ha. And then wait for tomahawk and of course that goes down. Six flags day it is. And then of course the food lines were longer than ride lines. Ride lines were super manageable. Except for mind eraser and the questionable one train operation on wicked cyclone. Would have liked to try the new restraints on mind eraser but wasn't waiting for it. All the big boys were running smooth. Wicked cyclone remains hands down best ride in the park for me. I was not a fan of the joker supports being green and purple in all the pictures I had seen. Much rather the gray supports like the jersey edition. But once I saw it in person it really didn't bother me at all. I'd actually say I quite liked it. And I can't wait until that opens up because it will make that end of the park feel more complete. Love the layout of the three coasters there. All in all had a great day on the rides but it was a six flags day as was expected.

Hey guys.. planning a trip to get back down to GAdv for a Friday/Saturday in early May (5th & 6th I believe). My question is have hey made any announcements on any BAFF days or any 13 year old concerts for that weekend? Access to a FP shouldn't be an issue, just want to know if I should expect any larger crowds than normal cuz after hearing about the insane amount of people that showed up for those BAFF days. Thanks in advance
