  1. Holy cow this ride is awesome. By the time we got on, it was dark. Pitch dark so you have no idea what's coming next. Dolly did good with this one A+. By the way, I was mistaken, they did have one row closed (row 3 closed off). Ride attendants were assigning seats which I don't like, but still a great ride. The park's fireworks started as we hit the final brakes. This was a cool way to end the ride. Exited the ride, to find the biggest skunk I've ever seen checking out the chicken sandwich food truck! Funny watching people's reaction to it. One of the Dollywood hosts was right beside it and it was if she didn't even see it. Didn't try to keep people away or anything. I was expecting someone to get sprayed but it must be used to people.
  2. In line for our first ride now. One train but they are filling each car. Park is crazy dead tonight for this time of year but the line at LR is pretty long.
  3. Just saw that they have a job opening for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager. Maybe that explains their lack of response to comments, etc.
  4. Off topic but if you are watching abc's "the middle" right now there are some dollywood references. Sue just said she got a job at Dollywood at Aunt Granny's buffet and her friend will be performing at Country Crossroads show. Too funny!
  5. Yes! That was my point. When someone asks a simple question on their Facebook page and there is no response...... Even worse when someone compliments the park or a staff member and there is no response.... Just pitiful from a park founded on southern hospitality and customer service.
  6. Dollywood has over 500,000 facebook fans now but yet STILL doesn't have a social media representative responding to questions, complaints, etc. Unbelievable for a park historically known for customer service to essentially abandon their customers on facebook. I'm afraid that long lines and subpar service is becoming part of the "new" Dollywood experience.
