Went to SFOT Friday, rode Shockwave with the new VR Revoloution which this past weekend was only open to season pass holders and it was awesome! Kinda had to cut the trip short due to unseasonly cold weather which later forced the ride to close. Rode Justice League, we got into the station then it broke down again, but opened back up quickly. Reminder, people from all over will be descending on Dallas/ Ft.Worth next week for Wrestlemania weekend. A list of activities include Wrestlemania Axxess starting Thurs March 31-April 3. Then the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will be Sat April 2 at American Airlines Center, with Wrestlemania held on Sunday April 3, then Monday Night Raw live from The AAC Monday April 4. So just a warning for anyone planning to visit Six Flags, and it will also be Bring a friend free so it will be super busy with lots of traffic. So if anyone braves the wrestling and Six Flags traffic and makes a trip I would like to know how it goes. I will be participating in some of the festivities, oh and Texas Rangers will be opening their season on Monday in Arlington.

We already know that no coaster is coming in 2016, someone screwed up and put 2016 as part of the link when it should be 2017.

Six Flags did purchase that land, only time will tell what they do for that.

No problem! I grew up watching the original Looney Tunes and Mel Blanc was awesome! I remember after he passed, Six Flags sold framed cell drawings and all the Looney Tunes were giving a moment of silence to an empty microphone and it said Mel Blanc from - to - I'm not sure exactly when he passed but I worked at SFOT at the time. Mel Blanc even did voices for the early Looney Tunes' shows that were done in the parks. On the oldies station here they play Mel Blanc performing "Blue Christmas" as Porky Pig. I guess they did the recording as a goof, because you can hear high-pitched laughter in the background. But of course you can only hear it during the Christmas season. I.E. early November through December 25.

So 2016 just keeps getting better as we lose a lot of celebrities, but yesterday terrible news for anyone who goes to Six Flags parks. Joe Alaskey, it was announced on Twitter yesterday passed. He was the voice of some of our favorite Looney Tunes' characters including Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. He took over after the original voice-over actor, Mel Blanc passed. Joe's voices can be heard in the dark ride, Yosemite Sam and The Gold River Adventure.

Just a reminder, the first week of April will be WWE Wrestlemania week with Wrestlemania being held at AT&T Stadium April 3! Six Flags will be open til 9pm that Sunday. So if you don't like crowds or traffic, you may want to stay away that week-end as people from all over the world descend on Dallas and Arlington. Just went to Six Flags Over Texas yesterday, (Mon. Jan 4) rode Sky Screamer and noticed that even though the bumper cars' building was gone they still had the bumper cars. Construction trucks are moving in and they are laying down pillars for new rides. So I'm guessing construction will be done in off-season, so hopefully construction photos will be up soon.

This is to the guy who mentioned the scare actors huddled in groups talking, I had noticed that the Friday before last and thought it was nonsense. They wanna talk, do it in the backstage areas and not in front of guests as that takes away the scare factor. They say they will scare everyone but if they out there talking to other actors, hardly scary. For the love of all things scary, quit chatting with other actors while you're "on stage." The people screaming will thank you for it!

I will ride The Riddler Revenge too! There was only one complaint about Fright Fest that I had. Friday was Fright Fest Hell and me and my friend didn't get in til 7:30. That wasn't the problem, the problem is even though the dining passes are good til 7:30, on Fridays they should be used til an hour before the park closes. I don't want to have to pay extra, if I have a dining pass, that's ridiculous . That's what really Grinds My Gears.

I'm really looking forward to the villains invading Gotham City and I hope they are going to have a specific gift shop where you can buy merch of these great rides! Look forward mostly to Catwoman Whip as the Spinnaker was one of my favs back in the day!
