Maybe wild thing wasn't running three trains. Yesterday I was there and I saw them running two, and the other train was not on the transfer track or anywhere. This was at about 5:00 though.

We're so enraged by the disgustingly small 2016 addition, that we're considering not going back until they get something more than ONE flat ride. Even if it's not a coaster . I mean COME ON, a SINGLE flat ride for their 40th anniversary?! Yes we have gotten 'one single' flat ride before, on our 30th anniversary, but I'm very sure xtreme swing is far more expensive than this. I don't know about anyone else, but isn't it interesting how they got Renegade one year after their 30th? Maybe they will repeat that and get one for 2017?!

Sorry for double post! We do have some options, yes, but we don't have any options for anything world class, such as B&M or good (Full circuit) intamins within 5 hours of valleyfair. Please don't say anything about 'We have a hyper!' or 'We have an intamin!' unless you compare Wild thing to Diamondback, and Steel venom to Maverick. I feel like cedar fair just steals all of valleyfair's hard earned money, and dumps it at cedar point, or their other beloved parks that they choose because they live closer to them. Another thing that bothers me, why is it that all their good parks are near other good parks? They decide to invest in the parks that have other parks near by, possibly better, sucking some of the customers away. Why be in a battle with the other parks? The logic that valleyfair has too much competition very unstable because of this. The only competition (besides nick universe) worth worrying about is SFGAM which is 5 hours away! Valleyfair, if they tried, could EASILY beat nick universe! Simply getting one single flat ride is not going to beat them, and simply getting one new waterslide type is not going to beat waterpark of america. I'm probably wrong about these opinions, so if I need to be corrected, please do, but do so in a kind way. I don't know very much about running theme parks so please have mercy

My opinions: Nick universe is very pricey, our fair is only open in august but is incredible, and our hyper is only slightly more exciting than high roller, which is sad, considering it's 3 times higher.

YES! It's about time! I'm really hopeful we get a coaster, but I'm still preparing for major disappointment.

I personally think that Wild thing is highly underwhelming, and has miniscule airtime. I have ridden it at least 50 times and this is my honest opinion. I have a little sister who has ridden it and also finds it incredibly boring! I rank wild thing at the same level or slightly higher/lower than High roller. It's sad because wild thing is three times higher! I also believe that Excalibur is the second best coaster in the park (Behind renegade). I would hate to see it go It has more force and airtime than wild thing, and I never notice any more roughness on it than renegade.
