We should see an announcement tomorrow or Tuesday.

Man I don't think I can wait that long. I get too excited over things like this. I get up at 5:30, and having to wait until 10 tomorrow during class is going to kill me.

^ That is pretty weird. I wonder why Valleyfair announces later than all the other parks.

I wonder why they are making the announcement early? But hey, I'm not complaining! If we end up with a Mondial Revolution and Flying Eagles I will be VERY satisfied! Who the hell wouldn't? How could anyone be disappointed with that? All the major parks have one and if we get one too it will really round out our thrilling flats. Someone on twitter tweeted to Valleyfair asking them "what new rides are we getting next year?" and Valleyfair responded with " Announcement coming tomorrow!" I think that's a clear sign that we are getting these two rides. Who knows I could be wrong. Does anyone know what time the announcement is coming?

I sure hope you're right. Flyers and a Frisbee would be an amazing expansion, and would be very welcomed by everyone on this thread.

^ Skippable? I definitely wouldn't call the park skippable. Even if you've been there before, if you're going to make a trip up north I definitely wouldn't skip it. It's still a very fun park with decent coasters and rides. Make sure you hit up Renegade.

I think Dave is screwing with you..or he's on drugs..or your mistaking talking to Dave in your dreams as reality..all 3 very feasible scenerios.. Delirium like KD is adding has moved to the top on my 2016/2017 list! Rode maXair a few years ago and loved it more than most coasters! I wonder if they would go two years in a row with waterpark additions..how many times do you think the whole, "come out and enjoy the new soak city water park" marketing campaign will work?.. Dave wasn't screwing with us, he said "I want to make a ride, that kids that are to scared for Wild Thing can ride" Now obvious im pissed cause thats just kinda, ugh dumb! That's exactly what Mild Thing was for. I'm still pissed that they removed that coaster. It was my first coaster.

^ A ride like Delirium and Flyers would really round out Valleyfair's flat ride lineup. I've never been on either of them, but they look like a crap ton of fun. And a kids area in Dino's is a dumb idea if he was being serious, that's a perfect spot for our next coaster.

I say they move the whole park to a better, river and airport free location.

With all the additions at CW, WoF, KI, KD, it gives me hope that VF could see an announcement soon, or in September. I got really jealous when I saw Delirium. One of those would be a perfect addition to VF. Also, Skyhawk at CW would also be a great addition to VF. Let's just cross our fingers that we get some sort of a new addition. Whether It be a parking lot, flat ride, or waterpark expansion.

The Screamin Swing at Knotts looks like the most pointless ride ever. Only holds 8 people and is an upcharge attraction. I'd feel pretty bad for you guys if you received it. My home park, Valleyfair, has Xtreme Swing, another Screamin Swing, and it's one of the best rides there. Great capacity at 40 people too. I feel like a full size Screamin Swing would be a great fit for WoF.
