  1. I was at MM this past Sunday with my wife. Hadn't ridden Apocalypse in 2 years, and so I was preparing for the worst. Maybe we got a good ride, or maybe because we rode in the front seat, but I maybe felt 5% more roughness than I remembered, and I wouldn't put it in the "rough" category at all. However, I did notice as I was watching other trains the people in back seemed to be jostled much more than the people in front, and the track itself needed some serious cleaning with all the oil (I'm guessing) buildup.
  2. ^I'm going to second going to Tokyo Teriyaki. It's easy walking distance, cheap, lots of food, and it's better tasting than any other teriyaki bowl place I've been to. It's a hidden local gem.
  3. This is such good news!-been hoping this would happen. I wonder what took them so long? I loved Ghost Rider when it was new, it's such a good ride when it's not trying to kill you.
  4. Revolution at SFMM when I was 6. There were no otsr, just a lap bar. When we went through the loop, I leaned forward instead of back, and the forces folded my body in half with my head between my knees. It hurt so much, but I wanted to ride again. I tried to ride Viper (it had just opened), but was about an inch too short. Went back when I was 7 and rode it and loved it.
  5. I'm a west coast guy, and been going to SFMM since I was 6 in 1991. I've experienced the horrors of the NYNY Rollercoaster, Boomerang and Ghostrider at KBF, Psychlone, Green Lantern, and (to some extent) Viper at SFMM. But nothing beats riding Flashback when I was 8 and getting the crap beaten out of me. It had such a cool look and I was tricked by those over banked turns, but that was the one and only ride I swore off as a kid. So unique looking, so awfully painful. (First post. Long time lurker)
