  1. Here's an update on the entrance, and I did some work on the ski lifts- they are just sort of there for me to mess with, I know they don't look great. Also the big building should be able to house a few stalls and shop
  2. First of all, I was wondering if we can start an official discussion threat about this park- how about it mods? Can you make one for me? Second, I am really tempted to go down there this evening since I get off work @ 3:00, I should be able to make it shortly after they open at 5:00. Than I have 6 hours to try and ride Timberhawk in different seats. The only thing I am wary of is the lines- last time I was there was during the summer when the water park draws huge crowds, and there were atrocious, slow-moving lines for all the slides. In the afternoon we did rides, and that was a lot more reasonable as far as wait times. But since now the only thing open are the rides, I am worried I will spend most of my time waiting. And it's not a huge loss at ~$40 including parking and gas, but I would rather not waste my night waiting in line. They do have a couple of possibly interesting haunted mazes too, but I think the lines for those would be even longer- not HHN long, but probably not a walk-on Anyone that's been here during this event, were the lines terrible? I want to ride my third favorite (out of 3) wooden coaster And maybe this atrocity of a ride Watch for the worst transition in the world @ 2:12 and 3:06. Unwanted back adjustment out of the corkscrews.
  3. Yes, definitely plan to add more than just clones, was just sharing some stuff I have been messing with. I like wooden coasters the best, and something fitting the terrain should work well here. It's part of the reason I didn't make the landscape much steeper; i find the scenarios that have more cliffs can be easier cause you can just go through them, but it doesn't look as nice as a wood track slithering through a forest
  4. Yes I plan on doing that, I forgot that I could add those so I will definitely do that, thanks. edit; i have updated the landscape quite a bit, more trees--i just found the random cluster tool, the first ones were all individual clicks haha--and fixed the stream. I also added more to the ski lifts, now they look like they could be operational, but still rough I was just looking up some of Anton's designs from the past, and I made my own custom double-looping coaster inspired by the Looping Star model. I think I will fit this into the scenario at some point. I call it Doppelscheife, which as far as I can tell means roughly 'double-loop' in German. Correct me if I am totally wrong- I think it actually applies to a style of bow tie for a ribbon, but it fits. I don't know about the color scheme, it sort of looks like I creamsicle and I'm not sure about it. I also want to make some custom scenery for it. I wish I could fit the entrance/exit in a better place, but those are the only 2 tiles they can fit in and still allow a pathway Base cost is $8,181, sort of expensive but with scenery added it should be a really exciting ride Also below that is a screenshot of my RCT2 version of Bullet, although it's launched rather than reverse incline- the game doesn't like the turn before the reverse spike for a chainlift. Hopefully this coaster will come back in real life, I would love to ride it Launched version of Bullet
  5. I just went back and looked again, I didn't notice Big Boom from Japan was also from 1987. So it would probably have to be Vortex Iron Dragon Big Boom
  6. 1987 Iron Dragon, Cedar Point Vortex, King's Island BMRX, Kobe Portopialand Probably, I didn't do tons of research and I'm not totally familiar with any of these
  7. Greetings, after seeing that there is a section here for games, and seeing some of the custom scenarios that you all have created, I decided to give it a try. I have made a landscape I am happy with, and have everything set up ride-wise... I just had to figure out how to take screen shots. This is definitely a work in progress, so don't judge me too harshly. Anyway, my scenario is going to be what I would want in a dream park in my area. I am setting it at an old defunct ski area near where I live, called Mount Pilchuck. It is a popular hiking destination in real life, but I would love for there to be a theme park set up right there to enjoy after a nice hike... that would be awesome. This is the first time I have tried a custom scenario and landscape, so hopefully I didn't do anything woefully wrong right off the bat. If you see anything, let me know so I can fix it before I start playing the scenario Thanks for looking Landscape done... I think The trail to the summit of Pilchuck, with the old ski lift platform at the top right Nothing is built yet, except a path
  8. Just watched the TPR video of this thing in China... do want
  9. Thanks for the reply comeagain, I was thinking I could have looked up the info about re-entry but thanks for confirming. At least I will be able to stash some stuff in the cooler, or go back to Coeur d' Alene or something for lunch and come back without paying 2x. Also, great info about the water park rush time... I'm mainly going there for rides, but will probably like to do the water park as well at some point, so that will also help me avoid peak lines for the slides and such. I know from our water park over here that waiting in lines all day for a few 30 second water slides is not fun at all. Is there anything in particular you recommend for the water park that's thrilling or fun? We didn't do any slides when I was there before, just log flume and the river raft ride. I think it was too cold for getting wet. Hope they add something super fun for next year besides that flat ride, it seems like they have really been expanding lately and I hope that continues.
  10. Just booked my hotel for this summer, I'll be there sometime during Aug. 9-14. I know this will probably be a busy time, but I want to make sure I get some nice weather, and statistically end of July or beginning of August is the best bet. I have been there once before, but everything was being taken care of by my parents because I was 13, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for making the most out of the trip? I plan on getting there for opening time at least 1 day so I can get some rides in on coasters without much line waiting. What is the food policy there? Can I bring my own? Is there any re-entry on normal days (Scarywood says no)? I don't remember the coasters much, but looking at videos of Timber Terror almost made me drive over for "Scarywood" this week or next week, but it's too long to drive from Seattle for just 1 day. Then I almost decided to settle for Wild Waves, and then remembered that I'd be better off saving the money. We need an indoor park or something for Seattle.
