  1. Hi everyone ! I just finished a model for a friend: It's like my first model Vekoma but I changed the size (50%) and the colors... We can't really see it on the pictures but it's very small As a reminder my other models are here : http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=71485 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69141 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69689 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=70323
  2. Thanks ! I'm not sure to do an other element for my next model, but maybe something more technical, like a launch system such as the Top Thrill Dragster... I have this idea in mind for a long time so i'll see ! I'll let you know when I'll have begun!
  3. Hi ! I'm back to present to you my new model: it's a B&M inverted loop ! Look at the pictures and tell me what do you think of it As a reminder, my other models are here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69141 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69689 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=70323
  4. I agree with you, the light highlights the model, and it's one of my favorite stages ! That's right, the base is hollow ! But it's just made of cardboard and glue. I hesitated to add wood to make it more solid, but when I finished the base, I saw that it was very rigid so that was enough. After paste it in the middle of the base, I dove the rails in the plaster. But you're right wee can clearly see brush marks, but that's not wood one pic to be more persuasive:
  5. Ahah that's nice thank you ! I tried to respect the real design of the rail, but that's why the shape is not perfect (I had no plan to do the main spine with all these triangular deformations, so I done it cross ties by cross ties and I deviated from the normal form ) I don't know exactly how much time I worked on it, but maybe 40-50 hours ! The top of the Immelmann took me a lot of time !
  6. Thanks ! These 3 models are on a shelf, and I don't know what to do with it, just let it here as decoration... For the moment I don't have a clear idea about my next model, wich I'll start in september, but maybe a launch system: The rails would be like "Superman the escape" coaster, with a LIM or LSM launch, a braking zone, and a lighting for the launch ! But I don't know how to do that, so I think I'll need help ! I'll post a video rendered in Blender, and if someone knows how to create the electric system like it appears, I'll really appreciate that !
  7. Hi everyone ! As you can see, the results is not perfect, this Immelmann is not very smooth and worse: it's too short and to dangerous to be realistic, but I think it's a good start to future complex models. Caracteristics - size: 1/50 (40 cm) - track type: B&M sit down coaster - colors: Banshee coaster - lighting: white LEDs powered by baterries (2x1,5 V). I'm waiting for your comments I tried to respect the design of the main spine B&M rails... I like the shadow !
  8. What you do is awesome ! And Hillflyer is right, don't sacrifice quality for time !
  9. thanks ! I'll post some pictures to show you the progress !
  10. Hi everyone ! After 2 classic models (www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69141 and www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69689 ), I wanted to do a little more artistic model, so I'm starting an Immelmann, with the colors of Banshee coaster, and still with LEDs. I have done it on Blender to see what it will look: Can you tell me if you have some recommandations to improve that ? Sorry for the bad quality but I didn't have more time to have better rendered pics...
  11. My first B&M coaster was OzIris at Parc Asterix (Paris) ! And I rode it last thursday too !
  12. Thanks ! For the moment I have no idea how to do the Intamin rail model, but I agree that a heartline roll would be very nice! But it would be very difficult to do curves... (I spent a lot of time on the last model to do this) It may be easier to make it smaller... So I'll see ! Ahah I think that I will not sell them because I spent a lot of time on it, but maybe next time !
  13. The new model is finished ! Come see here : www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69689
  14. My model of the B&M inverted coaster OzIris, located near Paris in Parc Astérix. Size: 1/16 (37 cm) Made of: Clay, paper, plaster, wood... Support with Leds I wanted to make it as realistic as possible... so all comments or suggestions are welcomed to try to improve my next model (Intamin Rails). Thanks for watching !
  15. Thanks ! Look at the progress: The base of the model is finished. The main track and the cross ties are finished too. I have just made rails with plaster, so it is not round at all yet ! it remains for me to sand, paint, and varnish the rails, and to make the support ! I'll show you the result in a new topic. Bye !
  16. Thank you both !! (I apologize if my English is not perfect...) I don't have a lot of materials, so I had to do with what I had Yes I have a new project ! I want to make a B&M inverted track ! It will be of the same size as this one, and in the colors of OzIris (a B&M inverted coaster located near Paris), and I'll put LEDs again I'll show you a few steps of this project ! For the moment I just prepared the plans on NL2: I Hope that it will be realistic !
