  1. I know during the winter season I'll be visiting Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America few times on the weekends till opening day of next year May 2015 season. At least we have another park to visit during the off season still can ride roller coasters all year long.
  2. (Dorney Park has announced that the park will open the Cedar Creek Flyers in 2015, a new Larson Flying Scooters flat ride). Cedar Point and Kings Island already have the rides. This is what Valleyfair could use in there flat ride line up along with a 150 foot Max Air like at Cedar Point put it somewere in front of the park or put a Max Air where the old chaos use to sit fill some of the open grass areas and were the scrambler use to sit put a Cedar Creek Flyers in that circle right now just benches and flags. I would be happy to see Valleyfair get a couple of new flat rides before a new roller coaster comes. They need to add some more flat rides to. Speaking of general park improvements they need to re paint some of the rides like enterprise could use a new paint job re furnish the carousel I thought that was in the works? They also still need to change some of there walk ways in the back of the park plus the parking lot needs some attention and a new park sing?
  3. From this photo someone should ask Dave about relocating Mad Mouse to the front of the park were Antique Autos is tare down the ampitheater and put Mad Mouse there and tare down the games islands to make more room for the water park expansion in the next few years. They could easily relocaete Mad Mouse to the front of the park.
  4. I'm going to the haunt on Sunday does the park still open a 1/2 earlier for platinum season pass holders? Park opens at 11:00am.
  5. Valleyfair height restriction is 275 feet tall so if any new ride or roller coaster they can build it up to 275 feet. When Power Tower was built in 2000 I really think it could have been 300 feet tall but the FAA flying cloud airport put a stop to it.
  6. If the new slides cost $6 million Renegade cost $6.5 million Wild Thing $10 million. How much money does Valleyfair actually have? Does Valleyfair get money from Cedar Fair also? Wild Thing $10 million we could get a good sized B&M inverted coaster around $12 million? Valleyfair could invest in there next roller coaster put some money into it.
  7. When do amusement parks usually start talking about there next season or making plans on what they want to get either for expansion, a new ride or roller coaster?
  8. Is Wild Thing running a two train operation on the weekends for the haunt along with Renegade? I visited Valleyfair a lot this summer never had a issue while waiting in line for Wild Thing, when I went all summer long lines for Wild Thing and Renegade were walk ons. One reason I'm going this weekend is to finally get to do some night rides on Renegade in the back of the woods along with Wild Thing and xtreme swing didn't get a chance to ride them at night during the summer. Also does Mr. Frazier read these forums for ride ideas for Valleyfair or expansion ideas? Valleyfair could get some new toll booths like Carowinds is getting for Fury and a new sing for there 40th anniversary. Someone needs to talk with Mr. Frazier for getting a new B&M inverted coaster for the 2016 season and it is there 40th anniversary if he is aware of it? Even if we don't get a new coaster for 2016 season I would like to see a new giant thrill ride like max air 150 feet put it were the old chaos use to sit in front of the park and add a lake erie flying eagles like at Cedar Point were the old scrambler use to sit nothing there but just a bunch of benches and flags plenty of space for one. They can add two new rides then in 2017 add a new coaster. Cedar Fair seems to be happy with Valleyfair about being a growth park? There's some ideas.
  9. What Valleyfair should do is move the enterprise over by were the old tilt a whirl use to sit by Wild Thing fill some of the open grass areas maybe re paint it and were enterprise is put a giant max air ride like at Cedar Point 150 feet. I've been on the one at Cedar Point and Kings Island. Also were the old scrambler use to sit since its just benches and a big circle why not add a new Lake Erie Flying Eagles like at Cedar Point doesn't take up to much space. On a hot day I consider keeping Rip Tide because Valleyfair doesn't have a lot of water rides to get wet on. I've also enjoyed Rip Tide with out the water being on. If I'm Valleyfair right now don't move or take out any rides. By the way doesn't GM Dave read these forums for ideas for Valleyfair?
  10. Valleyfair should do is add new B&M hyper trains for Wild Thing.
  11. My only guess for 2015 scream scape said something about a new snake pit water park slide package same thing that Dorney Park has. Water Park expansion for 2015 season. My other guess would be a new thrill ride. Love to see a new max air in front of the park like at Cedar Point 150 feet could put it were chaos use to sit.
  12. April Showers bring May flowers? Gary, is Valleyfair really getting a major attraction for 2016 season? I spoke with GM Dave last week said announcement is coming for the 2015 season and wont say what and not going to say anything for next year either. GM Dave also said Valleyfair is not going to remove any rides or rollercoasters. I could also seem them possibly relocating some rides different areas of the park. I think they should relocate the enterprise and put it over by were the old tilt a whirl by Wild Thing use to sit re paint the enterprise and in the enterprise sport put a 150 foot max air ride at the front of the park and were the old scrambler use to sit put a new Lake Erie Flying Eagles like at Cedar Point perfect spot for it new thrill ride ideas. And get rid of the old toll lane booths and make new toll lane entrances like the ones at Carowinds.
  13. Valleyfairs height restriction is 275 feet. Diamondback has a 230-foot lift hill. Couldn't Valleyfair build another B&M hyper at the max height restriction of 275 feet and have a steeper first degree drop ? Make it higher then Diamondback at Kings Island? I could see them doing that. Have the station start down by the old pinc cove and move the lift hill along the fence line were the Dinosaurs Alive attraction is and the first drop go under the front plaza of Valleyfair like Fury 325 Feel The Sting is doing at Carowinds and make the rest of the track go by Steel Venom and have the turn around over by Steel Venom by the highway gates.
  14. I saw GM Dave Frazier this morning chatted with him. He said there is an announcement coming sometime after Labor Day for the 2015 season I asked but he smiled at me didn't say what just have to wait till then.
  15. Take off the trim brakes on Valleyfairs High Roller bring back the air time on the hills.
  16. When is Valleyfair going to make there announcement for 2015? Will it come after Cedar Points announcement or at the same time? The state fair starts next week so the announcement should be coming anytime soon? I do think its going to be a water park expansion for the 2015 season.
  17. Valleyfair (1) Expansion of Soak City Water Park future ideas: 2016. Relocate the Mad Mouse up to the front of the park were the enterprise currently sits and move the enterprise over were the old tilt a whirl use to sit by Wild Thing plenty of space and a perfect spot for the enterprise by Wild Thing is and relocate Looping Star Ship could put it in the old space were scrambler use to be. Once Mad Mouse is relocated tare down the Subway and the seating area were the old log flume use to be and tare down the games because hardly no one ever plays those games and tare down the restroom by Mad Mouse is you could put a Tornado water slide flatten out and level that whole land space for the water park and were the hydro blaster use to be make that the new entrance for the soak city water park add more tanning areas and maybe a Bubbles Swim-Up Bar like at Cedar Point and more Cabanas rentals. Once Mad Mouse is relocated make a new giant walk way around to the right of the water park from the High Roller turn around to Renegade towards the back of the park. New slides, new paint for the current water park. (2) Were the scrambler use to sit add a Lake Erie Eagles ride like at Cedar Point perfect spot for one. (2016). (3) Tare down the ampitheatre maybe put a giant 150 foot Max air like the one at Cedar Point. (2016). (4) 2017. Build a new B&M either a flyer, wing coaster or inverted coaster build it starting from the old pinic cove make it go over the main entrance of the park and expand it over to were Route 76 is. (5) 2018. Add a sling shot like at Cedar Point put it under the Wild Thing turn around. (6) 2019. Relocate the front entrance. Move the front entrance and the toll lanes towards the Valleyfair housing area. To the right of the highway gates are now move the main entrance down by Valleyfair housing area use the frontage road for the main entrance and the grass area make it into a new parking area and use the back parking area is were the old pinic cove. Use the extra grass area down by the river by the pinic cove for extra parking. Once that's done raise the current parking lot to the Steel Venom height to prevent flooding make room for more rides, shops, a future roller coaster, new resturants.
  18. Could Six Flags St Louis get a Goliath B&M hyper coaster? Like a Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America? They could put one behind screamin eagle or behind The Boss?
  19. For the water park expansion. They could take out Mad Mouse and relocate it up in front of the park and tare down the amphitheatre to make room for Mad Mouse there's plenty of land space for Mad Mouse up there and relocate enterprise move it over by were the old tilt a whirl use to sit by Wild Thing would be a perfect spot for enterprise there's nothing there but land and they could relocate the ferris wheel put it were the old scrambler use to sit and relocate the looping star ship put it over by the corkscrew lots of land there and were Mad Mouse currently sits they could tare down Subway and the old seating area and the six games area right by Mad Mouse could be taken out because I hardly ever see any people use those games could expand that whole area for the water park and were Mad Mouse sits put a Tornado slide right there plenty of room plus were Hydro blaster was that could be the new entrance to the water park because I don't think people would want to walk far to get in. They could make a new walk way around the water park leading towards Renegade use some of the parking area behind were Mad Mouse sits for a walk way. If they relocate Mad Mouse to the front of the park and were those six games areas are and Subway is and the old seating area were the old log flume use to be they would have a whole lot of land space flatten it out for the water park.
  20. I'd like to know about 2016 season? Hints or clues? My guess I'm thinking that's the year for the 9th roller coaster to come to Valleyfair. When will the announcement come at the same time Cedar Point announces for there 2015 season? Doesn't Valleyfair usually make announcement for the next season before the Minnesota state fair starts?
  21. Which roller coaster has the loudest chain lift you have ever been on? I'm thinking for me right now it would be Valleyfair's Wild Thing. The lift on Wild Things seems pretty loud.
  22. I was at the park this evening I didn't see any markings over by the toll booths or any were in the parking lot. How about a B&M flyer like Manta? A B&M flyer over the main entrance would look really neat looking. B&M flyer I could see one at Valleyfair.
  23. I was wondering about there annual pass? Why at Nickelodeon Universe is it $250.00? Is that a one time purchase you don't have to renew the pass? I'm a season pass holder at Valleyfair and for my platinum season pass I paid $200.00 I got that because I went to Cedar Point. And Six Flags season pass is (Gold Pass is $154.99) (Regular Pass is $84.99) (Thrill Pass $66.99). Just wondering why is Nickelodeon Universe pass so high compared to Cedar Fair and Six Flags? I'm thinking of buying a annual pass during the off season when Valleyfair is closed and go there during the winter at the Mall of America.
