Six Flags St. Louis (SFStL) Discussion Thread

Went last night, but it was too busy and shouldve closed at 10. What's with people cutting in lines? I went on Boss and after waiting 30 minutes, a few people went through the line to get next to their friends. Same thing happened to Mr.Freeze, but karma struck when they opened the other side and and me and my friends were the first to go, while the people that cut were the last on the other side. They weren't very happy about that haha. -

Wouldve thought it would be NEXT weekend. I went to Creepyworld on Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. Only annoyance was the group in front of me that screamed at everything. Actually the last weekend of Fright Fest is almost always the lowest in attendance. It will probably be a little busier than the last few years next weekend since Halloween is not on an operating day. Halloween is a ghost town at the park... pun slightly intended. ohhh good, since I plam to go on friday and maybe sunday. -

So I might be going to Fright Fest on the 19th. Does the entrance have a point to where it closes or does it close when the park does? -

Never did the Fright Fest haunted houses, but if you'd only be going for those, I'd say do scarefest instead, specifically The Darkness and Creepyworld. Hoping to do Fright Fest this year, but it could be bad timing, since if anytime, it would be a Sunday, but they're only open until 8(thought they were open till 10 last year). -

Easiest way would be is to use the Six Flags app. Download it to your phone if you dont have it. Then scan the barcode on your voucher. Just do the same thing on a different phone if necessary. -

Told a friend about the flash sale and he was freaking out on how good of a deal it was. He probably got at least five other people to get a pass. -

Judging by the comments, a lot of people don't like the additions. Would've preferred that Joker ride myself. -

My fault, I should've read the description beforehand. Can't help but think a ride like that will make people throw up. -

Pretty much what I expected. Would be cool if they gave it a Harley Quinn theme. I know it wont happen, but replace The Ninja with that. -

It's on the Six Flags St Louis facebook page, and the Flash Sale for current passholders is 2017 Gold Pass for $49.99 each. That's the good part. The bad part is that the Season Dining Passes come up for $200.00! There is no way I'm paying $200 for a Season Dining Pass! THe thing is, that pass doesn't come up as part of the Flash Sale. There's a link to buy it on the Flash Sale page, but it just takes you to the regular Season Dining Pass page, which has no mention of a discount. So, I'm hoping that when September 1st rolls around, there will be a sale on the Season Dining Passes as well. If there's not, well, we'll be spending about one tenth as much time at Six Flags as we have the past few years, since the Dining Pass is a big reason we visit, and we'll be eating outside the park because I will not be paying $10 for a hot dog. Does anyone have any knowledge of whether the price will come down September 1st? Please Note: Season Dining Passes and Memberships will also be available at very special prices (with very special offers) during the Flash Sale beginning September 1. If you're looking for either of these items, please check back on Thursday! -

The majority of surveys that Ive seen involve a new idea, like adding a new ride, something with the app, and a possible credit card. Only complaint Ive had with their app is that it freezes up a lot when I try using it. -

Yes you must have the pass with you. However, you can input your pass number into the Six Flags mobile app, and then you no longer need the physical pass if you show it on your phone. Yeah, I did all this back in April. I found out last night that he got a new phone, so he obviously doesnt have the app. -

I forgot how the entrance process is, but do you have to have a pass to get in if you're already a pass holder, where you just get your finger scanned, or do you need the pass too? -

I could easily ride it multiple times at Fright Fest, but this time of year, after I ride it, I can barely ride anything else after. -

I wouldve been going tomorrow, but it's just going to be too hot, so it'll be interesting to see if it's actually crowded. Next weekend is bring a friend free. -

Personally, I have a SF season pass. I got it through my job where it is payroll deducted from several checks. I have yet to use it this season because I've yet to be able to afford the gas (I live three hours away from the park), the $20 to park, the money to upgrade the pass to have free parking, and food. It is disappointing having such an expensive hobby (as compared to my income). Also, the last time I visited a park other than SFStL was in 2014 when I went to SDC, which was generously covered by a friend. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford to do what I enjoy more often. Next time you get a season pass, buy it online Labor Day weekend. I did that last year(even when a friend said he didn't have the money), where I bought 3. We processed them during Fright Fest, which gave us free Gold upgrades. Ended up paying $60 each for a Gold Pass. -

Not sure what you're trying to say, but it looks to me as if you think your daughters friend will have a problem. If I remember correctly, you just download the Six Flags app, then just scan the pass. -

If you mean that she's only got the pass printed, then it only takes a few seconds at the gate to do it. -

I don't recall much difference, but I think in the part with the Joker shooting the gas, you're directing in front of him for a few more seconds. Everyone in my car loved it, especially a little kid. I think what might make the ride better is maybe putting in in regular 2d, since almost all of them were saying that they dont like 3d, though I personally do. But with this ride, I don't find the 3d to be THAT good. Something I noticed about Mr Freeze is loading part really needs A/C, maybe even "cold" air to give it a nice effect.
