  1. ^^If last Saturday was any indication, I would invest in the Fright Lane. I live close to the park so I can attend several times during Scarowinds with my season pass. This past Saturday was the most crowded I have seen the park in years. Park operations staff used barricades to create longer queue lines for the coasters and all mazes were at least a 1 hour wait. This was my first Saturday trip to Scarowinds in many years, so I am not sure of this is the norm, or not. I went back the next night (Sunday) and all rides and mazes were a walk-on. Go figure...
  2. Any weekday will be just fine. My only advice is to tackle Nighthawk first. All other rides will probably be a walk-on. I went to the park a few Sundays ago and arrived at 6:30pm. I rode every coaster (except Nighthawk) at least once and made three laps apiece on both Intimidator and Afterburn before closing.
  3. I prefer theme parks. When done correctly, it is the easiest way to take a trip without having to pack your bags!
  4. I know this is probably crazy, but I really hope that Carowinds isn't in bed with B&M on the new project. It would be awesome for something new and innovative to be built there to "change the skyline" (as was quoted by the CF rep during the Council meeting)
