I have the same feeling, like there was one on the drawing board for VF in 2016, but now something has changed. I sure hope I'm wrong, and we get that new B&M invert in 2016!! -

It this point, it really doesn't matter to me what type of new coaster it is, as long as we get a new coaster. Sure, I'd prefer a B&M .. full circuit invert or even a winged or floor less, but anything new will be more than welcomed. -

On Saturday, I only saw Wild Thing running two trains, though a couple people have mentioned they say it only running one. Renegade was only running one train mid-to-late afternoon, but running two trains when we got back to it about 9:30pm. Our last ride on Wild Thing was at 10:30, and it was about a 30 minute wait with a long queue. Probably the longest I've seen the queue, but the weather was gorgeous Saturday so the crowd was big. Wild Thing in the dark with the fog was amazing. It had excellent air time on Saturday, and it seemed to be running faster, though I'm sure the darkness and fog just made it feel that way. -

I was there from about 4pm to almost 11pm, and they were running two trains every time I rode wild thing. We did stop on the lift hill the last time, and they had to make someone put away their cell phone. Ugh. People need to follow the rules. Overall a great haunt experience. Both wild thing and renegade were running extremely well. For a much as we all hope for a new B&M invert in 2016, I forget how good the air time can be on wild thing. It had amazing air time yesterday!!! -

Going to be there on Saturday for Haunt. Last trip to VF of the year. Hopefully Wild Thing, Renegade, Steel Venom are all in fine form -

I know. It's easy for a lot of us to overlook the big picture sometimes, and just focus on what specific things mean to getting a new coaster. Overall, any addition to VF is welcome, and can only help the park. And anything that is more of an attraction for the GP is good to increase attendance, and with increased attendance means a greater chance of us getting that new coaster. -

I hope this doesn't mean diminished changes of getting a B&M next year!! I was thinking it was going to be a bigger overhaul of Soak City as well. -

No, No, No. VF needs a B&M ... something that is top tier (not CP or KI top of the line), but some thing that isn't a "on the cheap" coaster. A B&M invert is what VF needs! -

I would recommend going early in the day and staying until night. We did that for Kings Island's haunt and the park wasn't really busy, but at about 6 people start piling in. And I would think that 40 degrees is everywhere but I'm not an expert. I was there last year on the last Saturday of September, and it was pretty quiet from 2 until 6. Almost a walk on, on every ride. Rode Wild Thing back-to-back-to-back in about 20 minutes. Then at 6, it got a lot busier, and we stayed until after 11pm. It was busy, but the longest wait for Wild Thing was probably 15-20 minutes. It was pretty chilly that evening, so a light jacket is a must. It was probably in the upper 50s or low 60s, and the "breeeze" was chilly on the rides. But at dark, with all the fog, was amazing. Added a new level of "thrill" to the rides. -

Just saw the "rumors" on the CP forum, regarding the Mantis announcement earlier, and I hope they don't move it to VF!! Well, at least as a standup... If they redid it as a floorless, then maybe. -

We got stuck on Wild Thing last year during ValleyScare. It was only about a 5 minute wait, and they got us going again. It was kind of cool to sit there on the lift hill and look at all the fog below. It was such a still night, that the fog just lingered. It was so cool at the top of Wild Thing in the front row, looking over the edge of the lift hill down into the fog and darkness of the first drop!!! Hopefully no issues this year when we visit during ValleyScare. -

April = April fools = Fooler 405 ... The first B&M strata coaster. -

I agree. I think it will be a B&M invert in 2016 as well, but I will be happy with any new coaster in 2016 (invert, hyper, giga, winged, etc). -

I agree. A new entrance and coaster combo would be amazing. I never thought CF would build something outside of CP that would surpass millennium force, and with fury325 doing that, I think the possibilities of VF getting something record setting in 2016 is a definite possibility. -

It will be interesting to see what Carowinds announces this morning. I know VF isn't getting a giga any time soon, but the scope of the announcement along with the scope of what VF announces for its (assumed) waterpark expansion, might indicate what kind of growth potential VF might see in the next few years. -

it will be interesting to see what Carowinds announces next Thursday. I think it might provide some insight as to what VF might be seeing in 2016-2017. -

I think a shorter windseeker would be an excellent addition to VF. I've been on them at CP and KI, and I find them a good ride. -

Do you find Gatekeeper more thrilling than Raptor? I think gatekeeper and raptor are thrilling in different ways. Yes, raptor was more forceful, but the ride on both is so different. The keyhole element and difference in left and right side make gatekeeper and excellent ride in by book. -

I would love to see VF get a winged coaster. I've ridden gatekeeper, and in my book they are very fun and thrilling. I think 2016 brings either a B&M invert, winged, or giga. At this point I'll take any new coaster VF adds!! -

I could definitely see them doing something like this. The curb appeal would be tremendous with either a winged coaster or an invert fly-by over the entrance. -

I just saw the announcement from holiday world, for their new B&M launched wing coaster. That is the type of ride valleyfair needs. A B&M, but yet something to set it apart from the rest ... Like a launched inverted coaster??? -

I really hope it's a B&M. An invert would be ideal, but even a new hyper like Diamondback or Intimidator would be good. A Giga would be the ultimate, but I'm sure we'll never see one at VF.
