New front entrance with a B&M invert flyover of the front gate??? Schweeeeet!!!! Now whether it would happen or not, who knows. Though CF seems to be taking that route of new front entrances that interact with their new coasters. So we can hope, right??

Fun to see the park starting to come alive. Need to schedule my summer trip down there. My coaster fix from last fall has pretty much wore off by now. I'm in need of some 207 ft, 74 mph wind in the face coaster speed.

I think purple and white would be perfect for a new B&M invert. I know it means nothing, but I like to think it is a sign of what might be to come. (A guy can dream, right). I bet it would have the Banshee/winged coaster style harnesses. I've ridden both gatekeeper and Raptor, and I think the new style is more comfortable. It'd have a 170 ft. lift hill, five inversions, and reach 64 mph!!

If I remember correctly, doesn't Excalibur close before ValleyScare every year? I don't think it means anything.

I actually like winged coasters. I've ridden gatekeeper, and found it an enjoyable ride. I suppose if we want to over analyze it, it isn't the most forceful, or the fastest, or the tallest, nor has the most inversions ... but I think the General Public would find it a fun/exciting/unique ride compared to VFs other coasters. I would like to see first a B&M invert, and then I kind of hope VFs second new coaster is a B&M winged coaster. (Just my .02).

I think they need to put their money towards a new coaster first, instead of buying new trains. Wild Thing is good the way it is. Sure it's no top 5 coaster, but it is a hyper and has good speed. More pressing is our lack of a B&M, and inverted full circuit, and a coaster with more inversions.

You're probably right .. but let me hold on to my hope that it is the beginning of moving the parking lot, for the new entrance, for our new B&M coaster. How many other CF parks have gotten 2 new B&M's since we got Renegade in 2007!! (too many)!!

Right now, I'm thinking that they're expanding the parking lot to that area so they can remove part of the current lot for future park expansion, but they did just start the land clearing, so it's really anyone's guess at this point. New entrance + crazy awesome B&M invert. Fingers crossed ... We can only hope

After watching all the Fury 325 videos from media day at Carowinds yesterday, I am sure now in the coaster mood. It would be awesome if that is us next year, hosting a media day for VFs new B&M coaster!!!

I would agree. I think there is a better chance of VF getting a B&M winged coaster before a flying coaster.

I think a lighting package like Millennium Force has, on Wild Thing would look awesome!!

I would love to see VF get a Windseeker. I've ridden the ones at Cedar Point and Kings Island, and they both provide amazing views of the park and surrounding areas.

I don't know, but I like to think that maybe it does ... A redesigned entrance(like Carowinds) with a B&M inverted fly-over over the entrance(like Fury325 @ Carowinds)!! Hmmm ..........

Since VF got its last coaster, Renegade in 2007, CW has gotten Leviathon and Behemoth ... Kings Island has gotten Diamondback and Banshee ... Carowinds has gotten Intimidator and Fury325 (in 2015). It is dang about time CF gives VF a new B&M coaster !!!!

I like the idea, especially the color scheme but I would name it The Blizzard or Polar Vortex because Minnesota has no mountains. Of course if VF gets a coaster like that I really don't care what they call it. I like the name "Polar Vortex". An inverted coaster with white track and blue supports, with cool blue colored trains. And a new gate/entrance flyover and zero-g roll above the gate. That would have amazing curb appeal, and really be something the coaster community could talk about.
