My fiance and I wanted to do Banshee Bash so bad but we are getting married at 1p that day. We were not going to leave for KI until Saturday but have decided what better way to celebrate our wedding than at KI? I'm not expecting us to get to the park until about 6/630 so it's pointless to purchase the bash tickets. I've never done a TPR event and didn't know if people wonder the park throughout the day or what not. I would love to meet some fellow enthusiasts so bad and now that I've gotten my fiance into coasters I'm sure he'd love to chat with others like us as well. I know you guys are going to have a blast, Banshee is awesome and we know that will be our first ride after being married, no matter the line. I really hope we run into some of you while there, I'm sure we will be pretty excited and happy that day!

We are going for the first time this year on Wednesday and Thursday. I originally planned Thurs and Fri but when I heard about the music festival I figured it would be a pain. I'm taking my chances as we cannot afford the fast lane passes, but we have platinum passes so we will hopefully get a few rides in on banshee before the park opens and just tough it out Thurs. We plan on going back a few times this summer so even if the crowds are bad we should be ok. I cannot believe my fiance has never been to an amusement park or on a roller coaster, I'm looking so forward to sharing this with him. Anyone that will be at the park Wed or Thurs hit me up, we are always looking for new friends to talk to.

Please let us know how your trip goes, we are going for our honeymoon the last week of July and hoping to hit the park Tues/Wed. I'm clueless as I've never been to this part of TN but have been trying to read as much as I can. Personal stories and suggestions are always so much better though!

I am so bummed, I was all excited to see this and to go but dumb me looked at the date as June instead of July! I am getting married on July 25th, now I'm thinking we should go straight from the courthouse to KI and meet everyone! I've been following TPR for many years but rarely post and forgot my username, so I just made a new account. I moved to Kentucky this year and am not far from KI, I haven't been there in probably 20 years and am so excited to go again. I actually thought of moving the wedding date up a day so we can go, I know a little overboard but I can't help it!
