Went to the park today didn't really ride anything accept East River Crawler lines were a little long but I expected that since it was a nice day out in all. When I was in the park today I was at the goliath construction sight just looking around and I got an interview for a newspaper. Didn't catch the newspapers name, but they asked e a few questions and then at the end he told me that the ride will open may 31 and one of the park reps also confirmed that to me. Wen I was at the sight I really couldn't see but it looked they had the brake run in but I wasn't sure, they also did a lot of work on the lift hill and there was a lot of working going on around the station.

I'm at the park right now it is really busy right now I'm going to take some pics of goliath in a few min!!

This is how feel now that Six flags opens later today.

The Chicago Tribune Reports that Goliath is due for its public opening May 31, with a preview for season ticket holders the day before.

I heard a rumor that the blue crane was built inside Goliath. Part of the ride has to be undone for the crane to exit. Anyone know more?

The roller coaster is looking great! Just 2 more days until opening day and the weather looks ok that day with a high of 62 and sunny. We should be getting a lot of pictures by Sunday of goliath.

I never thought of that my bad if they can work through a brutal winter a little ran is like a walk in the park to them.

The weather is not going to be good tomorrow I have a feeling they will not got a lot of work done tomorrow.

the Ride got delayed by a week and will open to the public May 31

It has been quite a cold winter here. They should be going faster since there should me no more snow(fingers crossed)

Well Six Flags isn't the coaster manufacture so I don't see how it could be Six Flags fault. RMC is building the structure so it has to be RMC fault if not complete.

Not as much as the media per say. The media doesn't care anyway just another thing to put on the news cast that half the people wont watch any way. I really don't think the fans will care unless it is one of the Die Hardcore Roller Coaster fans. But every day the Ride is late Rocky Mountain Construction will have to pay Six Flags and they wont want to do that so I think they will have it done and ready to go by May 22 unless there is a huge storm with a tornado in Illinois I don't think they will delay it.

If a company or corporation handed out or said anything about an opening date (Goliath) if they don't open it by the date that you can sue Six Flags for False Advertisement of a Product so if the company already handed out a paper that said Media Day is on May 22 they have to have it open on that day.

It seems like they will have it ready to open by may 20

I want to buy the season dinning pass and im just wondering if it is worth the money?

If there still working on it opening day I assume that corner of the park will be closed and that will make it more crowded than it normally is.

Is this going to be ready by May 24 when the rumored opening date is?

My home park is Six Flags Great America: I bring in: *phone *season pass *wallet *bottle of water I leave in the car: *sandwich or eat out of the park *extra snacks *extra clothes *sweatshirt You never know the weather in Chicago

I went to the park the day X-flight opened I waited 3 hours to ride it. I'm just happy I have the season pass so I can just go when they have the season pass Preview event and ride it 3-4 times.

I see the wait times for Banshee do you think that the wait times for goliath will be the same when it first opens?
