My last trip for the year would also be my honeymoon. We will be flying into Nassau Bahamas in 2 weeks. Although no coasters, they do have plenty of water slides at the Atlantis Resort. Most likely on our drive back from Minneapolis, we will stop and get some Spongebob credits at Nick Universe. That will be the official close to the 2009 season for us.

August 26, 2009 - Newest Attraction for 2010
Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo announces their newest, most extreme attraction ever for the 2010 season, in celebration of their 10 year anniversary! The ProSlide HydroMAGNETIC ROCKET will be the park's longest ride at a whopping 990 feet long, with construction beginning September 1st. There are only 10 of it's kind in the world!
Riders seated in a 4-person raft are brought to the top of the ride before dropping 30 feet down a 45-degree slope. With the help of HydroMAGNETIC technology, riders will then be propelled up a series of four hills, twists and turns at the same speed as that first exhilarating drop. Linear induction motors make this possible by utilizing alternating magnetic fields beneath the slide surface that first attract and then instantly repel the rafts, pushing them rapidly and smoothly uphill. ProSlide from Canada is the only company in the world to use this ground breaking technology on water rides and has won numerous awards including the IAAPA Best New Product Award in 2007. The new ride at Lost Island Waterpark features a ride-up conveyor which replaces any stairs, making the water coaster accessible to riders who might have difficulty walking up stairs.

How abouts a Splash Battle that actually has different levels, drops. Also making it the world's longest, largest, and tallest in the world.

While I also would love to see another coaster addition, I am going to guess a Splash Battle water ride. Well maybe they remove SRF and replace it with a larger Pilgram's Plunge?

This was my first visit to the park. It's almost got a carnival feel to it. The Legend really suprised me. To bad they don't build more coasters of this nature.

Wilderness Resort - Wisconsin Dells
Here is the newest waterpark addition to this already huge place. Had a really good time on the lazy river that features an uphill section and a waterslide.

Polynesian Resort - Wisconsin Dells
We only spent 2 nights here. The kids loved it, and they had a few slides that were ok for adults.

We stayed here a few days. They have a cool all-inclusive deal where all food, fun, and drinks are free.

Bridges Bay Waterpark Resort PTR
This is a new waterpark resort that opened 2 miles from Arnolds Park in Lake Okoboji, Iowa last year. Not that appealing in my opinion, but if you are traveling with younger children, they will love it.

So I decided to venture out again and drive the 2.5 hours to MOA. Here are a bunch of photo's from our second visit of the week. Lot's of changes in 2 days. Plus I threw in some aerial photographs from the ferris wheel. Enjoy
