  1. Hey guys, kinda new here so hopefully I'm posting in the correct category. Anyway, I am in need of some pictures of Alpengeist merch. from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. There are 3 different depictions of the Alpengeist monster; the "blue fire ball", the "Old Man" and the "yeti/ white furry snow monster/ bear thing" (not official names). We're looking for the white snow monster. I've searched sites like google and ebay but can only find so much, and it's usually not the depiction I need or I'm unable to zoom in on it. I just joined here recently and thought I might as well ask and see if anyone has anything floating around out there. I have a few things on my own, but I know there's other depictions out there on water bottles and t-shirts. that show the monster a little better. Basically I'm trying to get as many different angles of the monster that I can. The reason (with out letting the cat out of the bag too much) is that I work for a costume design and special effects company in South Jersey and we're looking to surprise a bunch of people at New York Comic Con this year. That is a very strange smilie... Anyway... Things are still in the planning stages right now, but the more references we have the easier for us it'll be to create our patterns. I'm gonna keep tabs on this post so you can post any pictures you have here or you can email them. Just make sure it's a good, clear image of the monster. Any and all pictures are greatly appreciated and I thank you in advanced! Once work starts, I'll let anyone interested in the project know where and how we'll be posting progress photos. The email to send to is ThunderWorksProductions@aol.com if anyone wants to go that route. Just make sure it's labelled as an Alpengeist merch. photo in the subject box.
  2. Hey every one! I'm Taran Hook from Wildwood, NJ. I've been interested in theme parks since I was a little kid and hit a good deal of parks on the East Coaster on a regular basis as well as expanding my horizons to new parks. When I'm not riding (or waiting in line) I also do roller coaster and theme park photography and some of my work has been used by Six Flags Great Adventure and Morey's Piers. I figured it was about time I found a roller coaster community to join and after trying a few others that didn't turn out so well, I have some high hopes about TPR, so looking forward to meeting some new and awesome people.
  3. I think this is more of a fact than a myth; but getting hit with a cellphone from someone's pocket can kill you. I've seen cell phones fly on roller coasters before, but have never heard of anyone getting it, or dying from it.
