I think follow the journey was the referring to the journey from the original video to the official announcement. The first video said something like "will you follow the journey to the new ride for 2014?" Not exactly sure though.
I noticed in the third video that David was near gate 5 on giant drop, and the camera was number 5 as well, which would be the highest number of inversions on a wooden coaster. I also noticed that the 2007 edition of the guinness book of world records was on the table under the papers.
Just watched the first video, two things i noticed. One of the cameras is no. 72, which would be the highest top speed on a wooden coaster. I also noticed that David took a photo of 3 trophies as he walked past the American eagle cars.
Does anyone know what the small poster over the top right side of the computer is? I see the letters "mach" and the word "date" in silver Sharpie.
EDIT: now i see it's just another x-flight thing, saying "save the date"
I don't think that's why he was confused. He probably thought that the sentence meant that the coaster would be built near X-Flight, American eagle, and the railway. It actually meant that those rides are also in the county fair section of the park, which is where the new coaster is being built.
Did anyone else happen to notice in the video that at 1:11, if you look at the park map on the right, the area of the park where american eagle is located is covered up?
