  1. How many DVDs or Blu-Rays do you purchase each year? @62 Blu-rays, @10 DVDs How many digital downloads do you purchase each year? None
  2. I've been buying Blu-ray almost exclusively, unless it's something I absolutely cannot get like old F1 Season Reviews, since 2006. Currently have over 400 Blu-ray Discs in my collection which is archived here - http://www.blu-ray.com/community/collection.php?u=1916 Once you have a decent HT set-up, it's hard to watch super low bit-rate, archaic MPEG-2 encoded DVDs, lol. Yet I still have the ability to listen to cassettes and play VHS tapes, it's just I much prefer my TC-P50GT50 looking its best.
  3. I rented the Blu-rays of The Impossible, Life of Pi and Wreck-It Ralph over the week-end, the latter for my kids. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them though, Wreck-It Ralph was a really cool storyline and had great animation, The Impossible was absolutely powerful in the beginning, just thought about my own kids and how many lives were lots, amazing how real they made the tsunami look. Life of Pi was my fave of the three though, the 1.85:1 aspect ratio really was great for this presentation and even on my 50" TV (ie - compared to if I had a nice 65" plasma or 80"+ projector) there was a great sense of immersion. Really unique film, must read the book someday as my wife said it was great too. I watched "Upside Down" the week-end before and really thought it was rubbish to be honest. The 3D effects were good, but the opening narration, the super hyper dramatic music when we haven't even gotten emotionally involved in the story yet, nothing worked for me.
  4. Unfortunately I don't as I can't see the recent activity I've done once being banned, maybe it was something about McDonalds/Subway and all the GMOs in their foods on the pic with the Subway sandwich? Although I can't imagine I"d get banned for that unless Robb actually works at Monsanto, hahaha. Most of the comments I make are usually on the YouTube channel videos that I get linked to FROM the Facebook page.
  5. Hi I'm Steve, love coasters and one of my fave experiences was getting out to Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2010 to finally ride X2, what a treat! My favourite park is Cedar Point which is 4 hours drive. In 2010 I was attending a wedding and my window to get to SFMM was quite short as I was in Santa Barbara and required to attend a wedding rehearsal at noon. I got there for park open, explained to the window I was only going in to ride X2 and she was really nice and gave me a discount matching the cheapest coupon of that day, $29.99. So I paid $30 to ride X2 once and lined up for Tatsu but there simply wasn't time so had to leave, given that X2 is over 3,000km away though it was worth every penny! i don't game much these days, mainly NHL/NFL games and racing games (F1/WipEout) but my favorite game era was the amazingly long list of games you could play on the Commodore C64. Loved Paradroid, Pirates!, Defender of the Crown, Pitstop II and most of the Epyx "games" series including Summer Games and Summer Games II, Winter Games and California Games. Cheers!
  6. Hi guys, Can you please take a look for me too, name matches my username here. I know I haven't posted any spam, certainly haven't been involved in any arguments or been rude to anyone, just noticed when I went to comment on the pictures of that amazing new wooden coaster in Texas that I couldn't say anything. I'm not a member of any other coaster sites, I "LIKED" your page because your videos are all outrageously good quality and I love keeping up to date with coasters around the planet I've never heard of. I know that with 37,000+ people on you page moderating it must get pretty busy sometimes so I'm pretty sure my name must have been added to the banned list by accident. Best regards, ~Steve (I sent a message last week I think to the e-mail us contact information link here but not sure if this method is faster)
