  1. It's strange that the anti-rollbacks didn't stop it. I wonder what could have caused them not to work properly.
  2. ^Plus it has a slow lift compared to the other El Locos, which is stereotypical of Japanese coasters
  3. According to Atari's catalog for 2015-2016 the PC version is listed under online games. That makes it sound it will be a Facebook style port of the mobile one. Personally, I think that if they were going to make a real PC game they wouldn't want to waste development on terrible mobile game that will make people stay as far away from the PC one, and focus on the real game. 4. This. They had planned to release the original game onto iOS last year when they were going through the phase of porting their old/popular games onto the system, but it never happened. Now we have this crap.
  5. It looks Roller Coaster Tycoon negative 7. Plus it had micro transactions, the death of mobile gaming. They should have just gone with their original plan of porting the original came onto mobile instead of creating generic mobile theme park game number five billion.
  6. I really want to check out this park some day. It just looks so amazing!
  7. Hey everyone, sorry it's been a while been too busy to sit down and get everything I needed for an update. I made a wooden coaster (no name nor color scheme at the moment). The ending still needs some work and the supports are just the basic auto generated supports. I still need to finish the supports on Blue Vortex, but I have begun work on a custom station for it. I have the basic structure, just need to finish the windows on the side and the details on the inside. Now that I will have some more time, I will try to get another update soon. 8. ^I understand you point about SOB, but now with new techniques they are able to produce inversions with wooden tracks. In Hades 360, the steel is just for the trains to ride on, they added it after they had already shaped the wood to make the inversion. Picture from New Plus Notes
  9. This is making so excited for July!!
  10. This is the whole question, and I'm glad I'm finally not the only person asking it. The steel is attached to the wood, so of course the steel "needs" the wood to be there. But ask yourself this. Common sense says inversions are only possible with steel track. It's the steel that makes topper track able to perform inversions. Therefor... Hades 360 only uses a larger running plate so it is not the steel that allows inversions, plus they still have to be able to get the wood to twist enough to allow for the inversion.
  11. Really liking the look of this especially the launch coaster. That backing on the tower looks really cool
  12. El Loco was amazing. The drop was crazy!!! But the transition into the first dive loop was really rough. Of course when I am here is breaks down and there were people stuck on the first MCBR
  13. I felt that the one at SFGAm less intense backwards than forwards. The helix after the second loop which I always thought to be really forceful forwards was not intense at all when it was backwards.
  14. Going to be at the park tomorrow to get my first ride on El Loco!
  15. This. There is no way to predict what will happen. During WCB there was a mislaunch when I was on the train on the brake run. The first train didn't make it past the launch so the system was able to stop our train on the turnaround before we entered the station. In the other situation the system didn't know there was an issue until the train started to rollback so it couldn't have stopped the train entering the station. As long as no one was harmed, it doesn't matter that it was inconvenient for everyone else.
  16. I really wish I could do this, but I will be in Ireland during the event
  17. ^That is a perfectly reasonable response to that picture
  18. The last one they did, when DCA and Disneyland were open. (DCA closed at 12 I think, instead of its normal early time) the parks were crowded, but very manageable. Most people go just to be apart of it, not to get on all the rides. Lines are still long, yes, but it seems to be a different mood cause everyone is there for a different reason then normal. The one they did in May only part of DCA was open for the 24hrs as they still had grad night that night so that took up most of the park
  19. ^It's the same as the rendering, it's just the angle of the photo. If you look at the earlier picture you can see that they are separate sections of the track
  20. I just noticed this and thought it was interesting that the track connectors for the supports are level with the ground instead of perpendicular to the track.
  21. ^^Me too. I am really loving the color of the track
  22. ^When I was there they were running both Viper and Batman backwards. They were both fun but I preferred Viper to Batman. Turning the trains backwards is supposed to add that "out of control" feeling which was really evident in Viper. Batman was still fun, but it didn't really add that much to the ride.
  23. Yeah I hope this is the end of their OTSRs. I am not a fan of them. Being tall, the ones in Cheetah Hunt dug into my shoulders
  24. Now let's hope that no animal activists here about the sea lion brakes and think that there is actually sea lions stopping the train
  25. ^There will be a boxed version. Also, I was on twitter and I say that Robb quoted my post about the game!
