So today was by far my worst experience ever at Six Flags. I had to wait almost 2 hours for food since apparently there were only 2 restaurants open in the entire park. The food service employees acted like they hated their lives and were being held captive while they were working. I get it that it was busy, but I've seen it much busier this season and this was just a horrible situation. The only highlight was finally getting to meet HWFan. Funny thing, he was working as a cashier at Collonades. Kudos to you for helping out elsewhere. You sir, are a class act. I just wish I could have chatted with you longer. -

Agree with the dining passes. They've added more places including the funnel cake stand finally. Will be glad when we can use them at all the parks. Defiantly worth the money as much as we go!!! Are you talking about the funnel cakes stand right before the entrance to Studio Backlot? Because funnel cakes have been available for snacks there for months now with the dining pass. Or you can pay $2 extra and get a funnel cake sundae. Six Flags just never updated the PDF listing the available snacks. But it's available -- had many calories as a result! Yes from what I gathered it will include the stand near the back lot. But really? Funnel cakes were available for this years dining passes! I knew about the cotton candy for an extra $2. Good to know...thanks! You can get cotton candy with the dining pass at the stand by tidal wave without paying the extra $2. -

Panda Express was previously themed as a racing restaurant when the park opened. The sports version of the Moon Cars were directly across from it. The Flag Stop or something like that. Thanks Jeff, but I'm looking for what it was right before Panda Express. But we can talk about that more Sunday at the meeting. -

It wasn't built as a Panda Express, it was something else. That building has been there for a long time. -

Yeah, McDonald's used to be where Mooseburger is, and Johnny Rockets used to be a burger place called Screen Stars, but for the life of me I can't remember what Panda Express was. -

Hey, I was kind of reminiscing about when I worked out at the park, which was quite some time ago, and I got to looking for older pics of the park. I'm not talking 70's and 80's but late 90's to mid part of 00's. Does anyone have done of those pics? I'm really struggling to remember what BBNP looked like before it was there and maybe Castaway Kids. I really miss the music from that ride. Old construction pics are wanted too. Thanks guys! -

Thank god, it looked bad on opening weekend already. I thought then it was going to be an issue. Good work HWFan. -

So went out to the park today. Good day even with the rain. Everything was going good until we rode the train at about 8:30. Myself, wife and our baby were sitting in the front row of the last train car. As we were passing the crossing at the Boss we heard horrific screaming coming from about halfway back. My heart sank as we heard the words being yelled, he fell off, repeatedly. A little boy maybe 3, somehow fell off off the train as it was passing over that the end of the little trestle. Several people jumped off the train to get him. I'm not entirely sure what happened but we overheard that he almost ended up in the creek there. He looked to be ok but he was very upset (as anyone would be). He was favoring his leg. The conductor at the caboose did a phenomenal job. She immediately signaled to stop the train add tried to keep people calm. She was very shaken up but managed to keep a level head. They brought park EMT's over to transport the boy and his family to first aid. They got the train going again and the conductor didn't say anything until we got to the station and she did the usual exit spiel. She was very emotional at the station and had tears in her eyes. Kudos to her! I stopped by guest relations and gave her a guest compliment but they guy working the window didn't write anything down. I do know that as we were leaving the park and ambulance arrived at the park. I really hope everything is ok with him. -

Wait, First Cone is now included with the dining pass? Please tell me you can get a waffle cone! I did notice at Johnny Rockets that you can get onion-rings, half onion -rings and half fries or just fries as a snack there. -

Good to know HWFan. Thanks for the answer. Now if only they would make it to where I can add to my existing memberships. I'll have to add my son next year and don't want to cancel my current memberships (we have the cheaper dining pass) and create a new account or have 2 separate accounts. There should be an option to add at the current rate. -

Awesome, I wasn't sure and never thought to call. I guess I'm an idiot. But facts aside, that's an awesome deal. Plus pair that with the season long free refill cup that is a really great deal. -

Hey HWFan, quick question for you. I have a membership with the dining option. I thought I read somewhere that your membership was automatically upgraded to the new dining option. Can you confirm or deny this? -

The crew at Freeze can hit interval but, the ride computer doesn't like when we have two transfer tables moving at the same time. We learned this last week and the crew got a little bummed out about it as they really enjoyed having both tables moving at the same time. Glad you guys had a great day That must be something new. When it first opened we had no problems moving both transfer tables at the same time. -

The food at the sports bar is terrible. I will not eat there again. The pulled pork was gross, the pretzel bun was hard and cold and the salad I ordered was old lettuce. Their fries are horrendous. Nice try with the sports bar but terrible execution. -

I went out there today and it was not a good experience. No one seemed to want to be there doing their jobs. When I worked out there a long time ago I couldn't wait to go to work. Now it seems like the kids that work there are acting like they are forced to be there. This goes for the ride ops and the food service staff. -

One year when I worked out there we had Britney Spears (1999)and that pretty much shut the park down. Smash Mouth and Sugar Ray both played out there and there was a huge country concert out there in 1998 bit I don't listen to country and have no clue who it was, but it was packed. -

The turnstiles are being replaced with new ones that will work with the new admission system. The new system will use a finger print instead of a picture to verify identity. This in theory will cut back on stolen passes and prevent people from using other peoples passes So since I already have my season pass, I assume that I will have to get finger printed when I go out there? Will I still have to present my pass when I get there?
