I have had to bring a lot of stuff in backpacks before. I have a small child and a teenager with type 1 diabetes. Needless to say that we can almost never go without taking a backpack with supplies for either kid. As the little one gets older, we are starting to take less and less for him but we will always have to take a bag for the diabetic supplies.

Remember this was back when you could get a Big Mac meal outside of the park for about $3-4 but the price in the park was about $6-7.

I believe Six Flags handles this themselves now. A long time ago they used to outsource Fright Fest to a company but I can't remember the name.

Same here. It seems really early for it to be closed for the season. I remember working on that ride in late September.

Can't say I appreciate the video one bit considering how many times he had his camera out on the ride.... Judging by the video, I would venture to guess he's using a Go Pro. I don't see how else he could record in done of these rides unless it's a head mounted camera. Just my guess.

I've got a question. My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last week. We are planning on going to the park this weekend but I'm running into a few issues. There are no nutrition facts anywhere on the website to calculate his carbs. Any idea on how to figure that out? Secondly this one is more for the summer, but when we bring his insulin with us when it's hot out, how do we keep it a little colder that the outside temperature? It doesn't have to be cold just at a room temperature.

I doubt that. There is no reputable source to that. Most likely someone screwing with the article.

A very good idea, except for this little tidbit....... Buffets never go over well unless the food is fresh. Where is this at? I didn't notice this on Sunday when I was out there.

So the local news is having media day on April 28. They say the ride opens to the public on May 7.

I agree 100%. We got our dining passes then too and you're right. The lines were not terrible back then but now they are out of control. I let them know about this in the survey they sent me asking about my experience in the park.

I agree, something needs to be done to address the dining issues. A 15 minute wait for a sofa refill is unacceptable. Waiting almost an hour for food is unacceptable. It's almost like they should have seen this coming and been proactive not reactive.

Have you tried the Samsung VR experience before? These things are awesome and even though I'm in the minority since I like the Ninja, this could be a cool way to bring excitement back to this ride.

I was curious about this as well. Did they take down all of the Fright Fest decorations or were they still up just not functioning?

1:00 - 5:00 for lunch. 1:00 - 9:00 for snack 5:00 - 9:00 for dinner. They're not open until 6:00 tonight. Lots of annoyed people waiting to order at 6. What? I'm not sure I follow.

This one. Have them mounted on a small tasteful plaque. Something He'd want to hang. Maybe align them from top to bottom with the funny ones up top leading down to the more serious ones. End with friend. By George he does have a heart and has feelings! But seriously, I like his idea. Try to make friend stand out just a little somehow. We do expect pics of the finished product.

Call them. The price on the website shows $35 but I saw at the park last weekend it was $30 for the express pass.

That's pretty much the answer I got from HR in my response. On Labor Day though? Damn, sorry to most of the workers were kept in school even on Labor Day. I was pretty sure everyone is off on Labor Day. Bummer I got the copy and paste response. Good to know they are putting forth an extra effort to get more workers in. I'm sure they will be ready for October and on. I'll be keeping an eye on the thread. None of the schools were in session for labor day. It's a federal holiday and I can guarantee that none of those workers calling in were due to school. That is a terrible response. When I used to work out there I had employees every year try the "I can't work on labor day because of school" excuse. If that is what guest relations sent you I am going to be highly pissed off.

Especially if there's a time that they're jammed with web comments... ...however... ...once you get to that eighth day, go ahead and absolutely flood them. Flood their social media. Flood their phone lines. Flood their web comments. Flood the forums. Tell everyone you can. After today, I'm too burnt out to pretend to care anymore. I'm not going to apologize for any experience you have. I'm not going to help with any issue you experience. Absolutely hold them accountable. Be reasonable, but after they don't respond, call the media for all I care. I understand where youre coming from. This forum is just a trash heap of needless negativity and I wonder why I check it every day just to see the obligatory Iron Boss/Hyper Coaster posts or people complaining in detail about the issues they have with the park. I swear, no other forum on TPR acts like this, it's just this one. I've gotten kinda sick of it. I'm more or less just curious. I sent in a question about the dining passes and haven't heard back.
