I was not a fan of Intamin's Single Rail concept given the fact that it feels like a Chinese knockoff. However, if that render is anything to go by, then holy crap, that looks pretty amazing even if it only shows off a small section of the layout.

There's going to be a 200 foot RMC at a park that already has one of the best coaster lineups in America. Even if it's the lamest RMC ever I mean... holy shit.
PS: That's not the vibe I got from that video at all. I think it's going to be amazing but I also suck at judging coasters from POVs.
Agreed. With the addition of Iron Gwazi BGT will solidify, in my opinion, as the park with the best lineup of coasters in term of quality. I am pretty sure this RMC will be pretty amazing, perhaps not the best one, but the drop alone in the back I can only imagine would be insane

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's anything pre-hill? Original Gwazi had a cool drop and mini tunnel cross-over. I was curious if they did anything with mini bunny hills or that tunnel as a nod to the original?
No there is not.

Iron Gwazi POV has posted!
About time! I hate how they have not decided to open yet. It is taunting me. But in due time, i cant wait to ride it.

Another new image has popped up of PowerPark's new coaster, this time of its crazy weird twisted top hat. From the rollercoasters subreddit.I saw this on social media and was very intrigued. I thought it was an extension at first too (since the color schemes are identical and they are right next to each other). Are we sure it isn't? Even if it's not, this whole project is pretty strange (but in a good way!).
The original rumor was that they were going to hack up Junker but in reality they're just building another coaster with a similar color scheme.
Holy.... That looks amazing.

I worry that they are spending so much money on rides and not giving time to recover that money. It's giving me early 2000s six flags flashbacks. But who knows maybe they are finding ways to make more money this way. Just hope it is not another b&m SeaWorld Orlando could use more family friendly roller coasters. There big 3 b&m almost never have a line whereas the other rides always do (except wild arctic)

Wow they built this pretty quick.

I didn't find the change confusing at all, in fact, I actually get more value for the same price under the new tiers. I used to only get the two Florida dry parks for my $240 but now I get the water parks too.
I think what he was referring to was the Platinum pass from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. When the new pass launched they called it premier and then they changed it again and considered the old Premier as Platinum. Only BGW did this. The other parks did not do this so it creates a lot of confusion at the other SeaWorld Parks.

Has anyone seen the official announcement for Seaworld San Diego's new dive coaster? Emperor, I like the name and theme
-
Two words people. Scott Ross... he is dismantling this company little by little
-
One thing I'm a little confused about, are the references to "diving" and "predatory heights". That led me (and many others) to think it'd be called Gyrfaclon, which completely fit the arctic theme, and both those hints. This name though, doesn't seem to imply any of that... Maybe I missed it somewhere in the extended announcement...
Thank someone who has a lot of power who did not want the ride named after a bird. The new name leaves a lot to be desired. Regardless I think we can all agree this ride will be fun. Not to mention needed at this park since they are lacking a middle ground coaster between the big 3 and their kiddie coaster.

Just saw the pov... God I hope that is not coming to orlando. The screens are so... meh. They do nothing. The indoor sections feels better but not by much but given the space limitation i wasn't expecting much. I just feel there is not a lot of story going o. It feels like they just meshed elements from jurrasic park and world into one big blob.
Hope they don't add screens in Orlando.... but knowing universal I am pretty sure they will

Nursery was closed a few weeks ago, no mention of when it would be back open anywhere. Infinity Falls was closed for refurb but I think it might be back open now. Almost the entire kids area is closed due to the Sesame Street construction. A lot of stuff closed and not outlined in one spot on the website unfortunately. The other SeaWorld parks have a special page but Orlando does not.
I would call the park or rely on someone who lives close by
Seaworld does have a schedule of when rides will be down.
https://seaworld.com/orlando/rides/
At the top they state about happy harbour being closed now and at the bottom they have the schedule of rides shut down throughout the year

Planning on heading to the park sometime this week. Will the line skipper pass be necessary if I want to do all the major rides?Yes. This week is the busiest time of the year for all Florida Theme Parks.

Did anyone see the concept art/animation of the new coaster coming to this park? It looks insane.

Does anyone know if the new annual pass prices will effect current ongoing passholders arrangements? I’ve had a renewing 2 year 2 park pass for over a decade and just wonder if there will be any adjustments to the locked in arrangement?
If you do not want to change anything you will be allowed to continue with your passes. You will be considered a silver pass holder going forward. Anyone that purchased their passes prior to the contract changing will be locked in forever. If you purchased your pass recently but before the new plan went live then your rate will be locked in for 5 years.

What I find funny about the Antarctica ride is despite the mediocre reviews it got it still has the longest wait times compared to the other attractions in the park.
Because it’s low capacity and barely open?
Perhaps but it also has a low height requirement so many children can ride it

Did anybody listen to the announcement? They pretty much confirmed rmc gwazi. When speaking he said that this was a "hybrid announcement" and that gwazi was a "rocky" ride. I just about dropped dead when I heard those words. Not only that but two big rides back to back? Busch gardens is going to roar again.

The Sinbad show was a little different when IOA first opened, but it always has been pretty cheesy.
The Sinbad show wasn't nearly as bad as Bandits Out of Time. *shudder*
When I was a kid I remember the show being so awesome... But I saw it a few months back and cringed the whole time. It will not be missed.
Hopefully it is replaced with something good, I just hope it is not harry potter related.

OK locals and frequent visitors......We will be there in a couple of weeks. Have one day before a cruise out of Tampa, so I just went ahead and bought the quick queues on line to save time, was almost a for sure we were going to get them anyway. A few quick questions:
1) When I printed out all the tickets and such is just said to present the paper quick queue tickets to ride attendants to get in the line. Is that correct or do I need to turn them in for a wristband or something similar? Never heard of just carrying a paper around all day to use, and I've been to a lot of parks and gotten a lot of fastpasses and such.
2) I also did a serengeti tour and it would not let me print out a ticket for that. Have a receipt, stop by guest services I presume?
3) Any recommendations on food? We will probably be there open to close so will need a few nice breaks. I saw the restaurant with the three course price fixe menu; worth it?
I was there 35 years ago so obviously some changes have occured, lol. Hopefully, all the neighborhood gun owners are having a quiet day
1) yes you present the paper.
2) double check the instructions. But stop by guest services inside the park to verify your and quick queue.
3) I personally like Dragon fyre grill in pantopia or Zambia smokehouse in stanleyville. Dragon fyre has a lot of options (american, tex mex, italian, Asian and a deli) plus if you time it right you can see a show while you eat.

To all the locals....we will be at Seaworld on July 28th. Anybody heard about an opening date for infinity falls? Any chance it will be open by then? Or is everyone in the dark on this?
Best food in the park?
Word on the street is it may not open until August but they are trying to get it open sooner

Orlando has grown into a vibrant city with amazing restaurants and nightlife. If you want to grab something good to eat then you need to explore the 50 and mills district (tako cheena and king bao are my favorite) , thorton park district , Ivanhoe district , and milk district. So much to do and see.

^ If it were red it would make me want one of those waterfront homes even more.
I think any coaster enthusiast would love to have a nice roller coaster skyline in our backyard or front yard lol

Well I'm actually surprised. Glad to see SF working with B&M again. It also will be the first dive machine with 7 across seating, pretty interesting.
