This looks like it won't use that much water and it looks great. Been to the park a few times and looks like they have reduced water usage or are using recycled water from HVAC condensate. The large water falls next to the train tunnel have had a reduced flow and in the afternoon I've seen them still on but barely running.

The cramped ramp looks like its still part of the que. They added a few switch backs before it.

It was very crowded with the end of school year trips. Bus parking area was mostly full. The sign looks odd because both sides dont match.

How many people do they usually pick for commercial shoots? Is it just 2 full train loads?

Great video and being that I drive by on 1604 and get to see it everyday, makes me want to ride it even more. The direction the lift hill points and with the lights on at night, it looks alot taller than SKC even though there is not that much of a height difference.

Could make it a Hell tunnel and have infrared burners since rattle snakes like hot climates

I thought they would have lights in the tunnel. With how small LED lights are if they are using them, I wouldn't think there would be a problem with clearance

And those lights were on this morning too when I passed on the way to work. I hope there will be lights shining up too.

I will be at the park for my first visit on Saturday and Sunday June 8 and 9th. What would crowds be like and what kind of weather does the area usually have in early June? Staying at Breakers.

The cramped ramp was still there when I was there 2 weeks ago. It looks like they are making the que before it longer or they just put up a new pergola cover over the switchback that's already there

The exit is on the other side and those stairs were or still are an emergency exit. I hope they changed it and those stairs are now part of the Que as I see a wood cover in the background

It's probably the normal speed and then slows at the top for the suspense factor and you get to look down the 81 degree drop longer.

IRAt was testing this afternoon. I was on my way home on 1604 and looked over in time to see the train crest the lift hill.

the same with last Saturday 3/23 and they were welding on the 2nd over bank.

The blue lights they had shining up on some of the structure of Rattler made it look cool, but they need to add more especially shining up the first drop. And yes, red lights in the tunnel.

It's kind of a good thing when a woodie sways because it means its absorbing shock, but NOT like the original Rattler did. It just looked unstable. The ride slammed against the exit ramp for goodness sake. It needed some extra supporting or something. No wonder the ride deteriorated so fast... I also remember from the late 90s that the first drop used to sway alot before the long supports were added. And have always wondered how that horse shoe turn was always declared safe even though I know woodies are supposed to sway but not that much.

I was at the park for a while after opening this morning hoping to get some test runs with the camera but workers were on most of the layout. Welding on the 2nd over bank turn/dive and a maintenance ladder for the first drop. I can't wait till it opens. Looks impressive from inside the park.

I went to the park today and saw that one of the trains is now in the maintenance area. Also, i wonder if they will put 2 cars at the iRat entrance as there are 2 squares spray painted at the iRat entrance. Best I could get with the cell phone

Great looking train. I bet it would look cool if they made the eyes light up for night rides
