RCT2: Leafy Lake
kevarchitect replied to kevarchitect's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Unfortunately, because Leafy Lake lacks in the size department the current Revolution is the best i could do. The ride goes fairly slow making it not a rough as it may seem in the pictures. Also, I wasn't quite going for a realistic approach because Leafy Lake would just be impossible for that haha! Also, I am going to try to redo the Italian restaurant...but i want to keep the little red and green motif as it is Italian... Thanks -

Hey guys thanks for the positive comments! I just finished the scenery around Revlution and the Scrambled Eggs ride which is called "Symfonisk Virvel". There is also an Italian Seafood restaurant and a Southern-Style restaurant built on the little pier sticking out. I'm at a little road-block with ideas...I'm thinking of an Egyptian/middle-eastern themed are but I'm not sure...I feel like that's a little overdone so...ideas? Anyway, as usual, please leave comments, suggestion, criticisms, etc. I really enjoy them...they make me a better designer SCR17.BMP Nice view of the newly opened Symfonisk Virvel SCR18.BMP The front of "Sally's Sweet Tea" and more of the fully themed Revolution SCR19.BMP The lake-side of all the new construction -
RCT2: Leafy Lake
kevarchitect replied to kevarchitect's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I didn't want the guests to wander aimlessly about the lake so I cut the path there...the scenery isn't done around there so i didn't feel like letting guests go there. -
So...It's been a while... My life has been a whirlwind of...stuff lately, and now (poof) I'm in Sweden. Anyway, I finally found where RCT2 throws the screenshots now that I have Windows 8 and I can finally show you the junk I've been working on! Enter: Leafy Lake! This is an extraordinarily updated version of Leafy Lake with Custom Scenery and added rides and all that jazz. You enter to a wide plaza overlooking the lovely lake, and to your right you have Romantorg and to your left you have Putnam. Romantorg: a quaint village-ish (named after the influential Swedish Composer Johan Helmich Roman) with a compact Schwarzkopf-ish ride, a carousel (Karusell in Swedish), and a Scrambled Eggs ride that has yet to be named/completed/themed. Putnam: The more-or-less completed area of the park has a LIM-launched diving coaster called Kobolt Blixt (Cobalt Flash in English) and the Putnam Spira. I am very excited with the way this section of the park turned out! I am looking forward to HOPEFULLY posting this on NE when it is completed. ANY comments, criticisms, ANYTHING is welcome so feel free to drop whatever is on yo mind! Centennial Meadows [RCT2]
kevarchitect replied to kevarchitect's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
So I put the building around the watercoaster which is now called "Tavern Bay Dive" (I suck at naming rides haha). I feel a little bad for covering up so much scenery, but eh, oh well. I wanted to make a dark ride and found out the hard way that it is just something the limits of RCT2 prevent BUUUUUT...With this ride done I have to start on a new themed are or I might work a bit on my Electric Fields park. Any ideas for another themed area? I wanted to do a jungle themed are, but I thought that it would be too "been there, done that" or just look too much like the pirate cove area. Thank you guys so much for supporting me. Any feedback, comments, criticism is GREATLY enjoyed! SCR49.BMP Finished building. It looks a little...industrial...I guess you could say :/ SCR50.BMP Da back side SCR48.BMP close-up on what the guests will see! -

so. It's been an eternity since I have been active (sorry), but I finished the dark ride. I didn't put the building over it yet because I wanted y'all to see the inside! I think I said this before, but this is very much inspired by the famous RCT2 Youtuber FAON1886's (the creator of the project park series) Concept park: Pirate Bay video. Enjoy. I very much enjoy feed back! SCR47.BMP The entrance to the ride! SCR46.BMP The station from inside the ride. This will be the first room the riders will experience. SCR45.BMP Top of the main hill and some other fun things. The is how the riders will enter the main room which has a cove in it with various Pirate things added. SCR42.BMP The opposite corner of the main room. There is a bit of track underground, but all of it is large sweeping turns that the riders will travel very quickly around. -
This is a short little post. I wanted to redo the "Dragon" coaster, and it is now called Grizzly. I tried to make it more like a typical Schwarzkopf with large sweeping drops and wide turns. This is the first time I have tried hard to make a roller coaster look a specific way...I usually just build whatever and usually good things happen (lol) So...enjoy. Please give some o' dat feedback, it really helps me grow as a designer/builder/artist/coaster...er... (whatevs) SCR39.BMP newly renovated and lookin' great! SCR38.BMP The new station and the new food court thingy. SCR40.BMP The top of the hill and a good view of the mine train tracks the run through the ride for added fancyness SCR41.BMP Another view with a good look at the loop and the hills/mountains.

Haunted Harbor RCT2

http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51178&start=120 BOOM! Just download it and run the program like any other program, but make a backup of the park because trainer's can occasionally lead to errors :/ I would use the earliest version because sometimes the newer ones don't work on certain computers, but the oldest version works every time and has less errors. there are several tutorials online on how to use these as well...I don't know if I'm a little late in posting this, but here ya go! -
I DID IT! I worked very hard for the past week to finish this section of the park which consists of only one building (lol) The new themed area is called "Oceans Depths" featuring a large submarine ride called "Voyager Blue". There are two other rides, "Cardinal" (an inverter ride thingy) and "Bumper Boats" (original name huh). This themed section Is loosely base off of Disney Land Tokyo's Mysterious Island which is a loose form of steampunk (if you could call it that). I've never really seen someone make such a thing on RCT2 so I thought I would give it a try. P.S. a cool wooden "All American" type of ride is coming soon as well as the renovation of the Dragon ride which is going to be sort of rebuilt because I'm bored with it and it doesn't fit in... Enjoy the pictures and please give feed back! SCR33.BMP Overall view of the area!
