  1. The Corkscrew photo was one I was really hoping to get. A few years back, the On Point blog posted a similar photo, and I thought it was a really neat shot. Very happy to get one myself.
  2. First report, I figured I'd share some photos from my most recent trips over the last couple of months. Back in late December/early January, my family and I took a fantastic trip to Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, and of course we visited some parks. It was nice to finally escape the cold. Please note, most of these pictures were taken with an iPhone. While not the worst quality, they aren't the best either. Please enjoy! First off, we visited Busch Gardens Tampa. This was the third time I had visited the park. One of the attractions I was most excited for was Falcon's Fury. The last time I visited the park, it was still under construction. Without a doubt my favorite drop ride. Almost beats Maverick as my favorite... But not quite! I think this might be considered iconic.. No? Just love this ride! Well... I thought that I had more from Busch Gardens, but that's all for that park. While in Florida, we also made a trip to John's Pass. There was a few quirky signs that I figured some of you might get a kick out of. Is that Windows XP I see? This was at the entrance to the "Hold an Alligator" shop. Back to the parks. SeaWorld Orlando was next on our itinerary. Besides it, the only other SeaWorld park I, or any of my family members had been to, was SeaWorld Ohio before it closed. SeaWorld Orlando did not disappoint. Manta was the first true flying coaster I had experienced. I really enjoyed looking at all of the aquariums which lined the queue for Manta and other rides. Kraken Wheeeeee... He/She was a little camera shy... Just need to find a hammer head and we can go build a house... I thought these guys looked neat. We spent a good trying to soak people with the water cannons on this ride. Missed most of the time. I couldn't tell if this guy was real or fake. He just stood there staring, and never moved. (By the way, I mean the bird) They look like they're up to something. And, as if my family hadn't had enough roller coasters for one day. I drove us on over to Fun Spot America. Loads of fun. So here's the "And More" the topic's subject stated. Last weekend I took a trip to Cedar Point for another Winter Chill Out. Here are some pictures from that trip. I think I take this picture every time I walk into the park. Why can't it be summer? Cannot wait to see what goes here! Ice cold coke! It doesn't get any more "Cedar Point" than this. At least I don't think so. Can we ride now? One of my favorites, although it's expensive. The little engine that could -- survive this frigid weather. Walkin in a winter wonderland. To the stocks! We learned that a lot of the buildings along the trail, are actually pretty old. My favorite! Put some clothes on... You're welcome. Awesome! Keeping it up. Ghost town So. Much. Fun. Surprise! I really enjoy the new Gemini Midway. Even in the snow it looks awesome. Mhmmmmm Frozen in time. I hope you enjoyed, that's all for now.
  3. Hello, my name is Alec, I am from Michigan. I'm really happy I found this website, after becoming absolutely obsessed with roller coasters a few years back. Interested in going on the Europe tour, and just being apart of the community.
