Skyroller and winterfest. That's my prediction.

Crowds have been a issue for a few years now. Outside of the normal busy Saturdays(occasional Sunday I think most days are pretty much walk on. I have been numerous times over the past few years since since i305 was added and I rarely see much of a line for it. Most of the time its one train operations. I would be curious to know what the attendance numbers have been over the last few years because I'm guessing it's been on a steady decline. Don't get me wrong it's great for those of us who enjoy walkins but I am concerned about the long term viability of the park. I'm sure it will have an impact on what type of future investments the park will have in the near future. You take parks like CW, KI and CP (huge attendance) they will continually invest heavily in those parks. CW is already rumored for another coaster next year. I can remember the glory days of this park and waiting 2+ hours to ride RY, 2+ for KK, Haunted River, Safari Tram, ETC. Literally elbow to elbow walking down Candy Grove. I would love to see this park thrive in the future and return to its former glory. I truly don't think BGW is impacting attendance. They have been battling each other since the mid-70's and both have always done well and both parks cater to a different class of people. Enthusiast will choose KD and Families will choose BGW. BGW is also a travel destination where as KD is just and amusement park. just my 2 cents

I keep praying the lines aren't bad this Friday - I haven't been to Hershey in nearly 7 years so I'm really looking forward to it! I assume the kids are out of school by now? How are Fridays generally at the park?

Haven't been to Hershey all year and I'm contemplating heading up this weekend. Would it be a mistake to go since its a Holiday weekend? I'm leaning towards Sunday since the park doesn't close till 10. Any ideas as to what I can expect from a crowd perspective? Should I avoid this Sunday?

^^ All a matter of interpretation of the photo - Some will say the picture depicts launching and stratosphere and when you tie in record breaking people will assume a coaster. Others will see the pic as reference to a spaceship heading to a planet - referencing "Planet Snoopy" Who knows really - I just doubt KD will add another coaster this year since no signs of a coaster being installed so far - To me it would of been the best kept secret ever for a park.

Its missing Kings Dominion They added Windseeker and Dinosaurs Alive.

Kings Dominion adding Hypersonic XLC - Millions spent and down nearly 50% of the time. Has to be one of the shortest life spans for a coaster ever.

I personally think Dinosaurs Alive will be the only addition to KD this year. I see a flat coming to the park in 2013 which might be a windseeker. I don't see KD adding both in 2012. Maybe they will follow Cedar Point this year and add DA and a minor upgrade to the waterpark.
