Ive never greyed out on the ride but the drop into the first turn is pure bliss. Never gets old Probably helps that I've never been close to being dehydrated haha -

I rode Intimidator 305 a few time back in April (8 or 9 times I believe), never once felt anything beyond slight floater. The backseat during the first drop is the best airtime this coaster has to offer. Which isn't saying much since the backseat on any coaster can do this. I was expecting more out of those three hills design specifically for airtime. It was a very fun experience, and still ranks pretty high on my list. It's just that the airtime could of been better given the design. Slammed like a semi truck??? How much do you weigh??? it's possible your body couldn't handle it.... But lets face it, there is no other full circuit coaster that intense and probably never will be, or at least for a long time -

Anything but a b&m and ill be happy. Mav or toro or skyrush type of ride or all 3 and kd would be perfection Dude, stop. The next coaster is going to be a B&M whether you like it or not. No 1 would like it. I expect great things from KD Because no one likes Fury 325, or Thunderbird, or Diamondback, or Leviathan, right? *facepalm I just hope kd pushes the envelope yet again and goes all out on their next coaster. None of the above scream unique -

It's pretty simple. Most of us get very excited at the news of a new Intamin coaster being built but not so much when we hear of a new B&M being built..... -

No, Their Gigas will always be too far spread out element wise and not able to handle such quick transitions at such high speeds. The thrill factor will never match up I believe. We shall see though. For now, Ill stick with my baby lol -

Griffon cost 15.6M, this coaster will definitely be of similar size. Isn't the price from the Sandusky Register excluding excavation, construction cost? I believe that Griffon's reported price tag is the final price (the actual coaster but also construction, land moving). If that is correct, CP's dive machine will definitely be larger than Griffon. Also to all the naysayers about dive machines: I live close to BGW, and Griffon is absolutely awesome; it has a great mix of airtime and positive G's. Also, it is without a doubt the smoothest coaster I've ever been on. after Griffons drop it is completely boring. any enthusiast would know that "Any enthusiast" would know not to judge a roller coaster before they ride it, because often times a coaster will surprise you even if it doesn't look intimidating. I've been on it over 100 times and I never get bored of it. I'm sure you know all though, and your opinion is fact, so I've been defeated. A crushing loss, truly. i work at bgw and know firsthand about griffon, great first drop, boring after, simple as that, move on -

It really depends on the person. I marathoned I305 about two weeks back on a Thursday and had no problem hopping right back in the (station wait) line. That said, I greyed out every time--about a dozen rides. *As a disclaimer, don't go in expecting I305 to change your life and be the hands down best coaster in the world. Dont get me wrong--it's an incredible coaster, and is in my top 5. However, if you set your expectations TOO high (like this poster is trying to do), you will more than likely be disappointed. As with Millennium Force (and the B&M gigas), most are either in the camp of "top five material" or "its okay." Expect it to be a good coaster, and see what happens. It's a Maverick and El Toro on Steroids so you figure it out. To each their own. I'm a speed demon so that's why its the best coaster for me. The rush is for me. Its not for everyone, and i dont care for anyone but me -

It's so hard to marathon I305 for so many people. it's that intense and amazing. One ride on it and your life is changed forever. what other coaster can say that -

If KD was smart they would add a Maverick type ride or a El Toro type ride. Im still mad they dont have XLC there. that launch was perfection!!!! -

I'm with you all the way. Alpengeist is super rough and shaky and Dominator with all the loops makes me queezy. Both are pretty rough tho. I305 is butter smooth and just plain awesome -

I believe the brake is there to make it more rerideable but i could be wrong. Its hard to marathon. We all got upset with that brake there. But it was still the most unreal experience i had had on a coaster -
