Oh, I didn't think of that. But regarding the part about having the ride close, Knott's closes Stagecoach and they used to close the balloon race for haunt mazes which are both popular family rides, and as far as I know nobody complains.

Well I am a huge music fan as I am a theme park fan, so when you marry the two, my inner child freaks out. Plus I'm a huge Alice Cooper fan, and he said they will be playing music from his new album which will be a preview of sorts for me. It's funny though, a few months ago I thought they should do this, haha. Knowing how theatrical Alice Cooper's concerts are, who knows how amazing this maze will be. I am very excited for this.

I know it's a random and off topic idea, but I'd thought I would share it on here. I don't know if it would work as I've never been to CGA, even though I hope too soon, I thought of a maze location for CGA's haunt. I made a 3D Model in Sketchup, which I have taken pictures of and attached to this post. It is at the Flying Eagles ride, which would need to be taken down very similar to how Knott's did the mazes at the Balloon Race in Camp Snoopy for a few years. Tell me what you think and if you think it would work. The white floor is any place the maze could be. All the white pieces on the ground in this pic, is a one inch thick floorboard. A better overview of how it would work with the surrounding area. Aerial view. Oh and in case you didn't know, the white roof is a tent, similar to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood.

Glad to hear they keep wanting to expand the event. Hopefully in a few years the event will continue to grow.

^^Boomerang Bay really needs to be expanded. It has a great offering right now, but it could be even better with just a few more slides.

A new haunt was announced yesterday for Valleyfair. It's called Camp Wekilou, and will be located in the Picnic Cove area.

I just hope Cedar Fair really realizes what the park does for its community, it provides hundreds and hundreds of people jobs. And in this economy losing a whole park would not be good at all. So hopefully Cedar Fair will turn around and actually invest some money in the park.

^Announcements for new rides can vary on when they are made. Some are made around august, others as late as October/November, so I would suggest being patient and hoping it's something the park needs, more than something us fans want. If you know what I mean.

^Wow! The one here at Knott's has a few refurbishments a year, but it's never down. Or at least it isn't when I'm there.

Oh, and the official name of the maze is "Hostel: Hunting Season".

This one is supposed to be based on both Parts I and II so it should be different I would think.

Has any other Top Spin ride have as many issues as Firefall.

Hostel has just been released as another new maze for this year. It will be going behind Revenge of the Mummy, which is where saw has been located the past few years.
