Right now, just Celebration Swings and Flying Eagles, since Firefall is still not done with it's rehab.

There were some band competitions going on in the park on Saturday and some awards ceremony over in the Peanuts Playhouse, there were many schools at the park, including some from Pleasanton, as for whatever reason, I just remember the shirts they were wearing as they would come through the line of the ride I was operating several times. But I do agree, it was nice to see it busy, something I have not seen since the season started. Even with the season pass processing, the line got quite long, that at one point they actually used the old Triple Play queue area.

I think there is more benches there then there are trash cans in the entire park lol. Even if they didn't take out the grass for a new coaster/ride, I'd much rather have grass under a ride than asphalt. It would keep the area cooler. Whatever they put in, it would be nice if the cue line had a roof to protect from the sun. True, it does look there are, though, I'm sure you might of seen by now, but most of the benches have been moved, there still are a few around the Invertigo area, but not the long chain of them as there was. It's happened to me too a few times, they ask first if it's gone or if I know what's going to replace Invertigo, of course I, like many others don't know. Firefall is the other one, some have asked if it is going to be removed too because of it's missing gondola.

Some images I took of the Invertigarden today, since I was curious as to what it looked like, hopefully something more will happen with the site than this, my first thought when I saw it is that it has to be temporary.It doesn't look like something that much effort was made to put in and was kept for the most part simple

Right now with the Invertigo site, I'm not 100 percent sure, but it looks to be nothing more that preparation for landscaping, there are flowers sitting in the backstage area as well as PVC piping, though I'm not sure if that was all the PVC from Invertigo's old lawn areas. Hopefully something more will happen with the site though. Overall opening day was not that bad, at least the rain held off (unlike March 26th, when it seemed like it would not stop at all while I was working) and the majority of the rides in the park were opened, too bad Firefall was not among those though, but then it's never opened on time since they got it, and I did get my fair share of questions from guests about Firefall and it's missing gondola, among them "Are you guys removing Firefall as well?" and "What happened to Firefall?" Hopefully it'll be running by May.

I had seen that earlier when I was on facebook, he's posted the same thing twice so far on there, the wording (or lack there of) is slightly different in the two posts, the first of his is above, this is the other one, and to me it was quite painful to read, never quite seen spelling or sentence structure on a level like this before....: "I hav a great ride f0r great america itz da GIANT INVERTED B00MERANG fr0m vek0ma!!! actually it may l00k like invertig0 but if u ride it itz bettr kuz itz higher. As for the picture, I should put it on the Great America facebook page, since there seem to not be many of it toward the end of the removal.

From about a week ago, took this with my cell phone, so the quality is not the best, but shows mostly what was left at the time.

Thanks for the pictures. It's cool to see the track pieces, yet depressing at the same time. I also see the staircase that went alongside the lift hill piled on top of the track. Your Welcome, I thought the same when I pulled into the employee lot about seeing the track piece sitting there, at least I did have my camera with me to get some images of it.
