The "Preview" Thread
coasterfreak96 replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Go into the game options and when you can select how you view the game e.g Balanced, Good quality etc... If you pick custom then you can adjust all the settings. If you then select show LOD options you can turn both supports columns right down and then there will be no in game supports for any objects or rides. Just means you will have to add your own but it will remove the entire support with none left visible. -

Thanks for all your feedback, however the reason for such a large coaster is that it is the main attraction of the park and the key to expanding my park in the future. I have good ideas to expand this coaster, not track wise but in other ways, you will have to wait and see for that (And by the way, I am not a very good coaster designer unfortunately but I am practising alot.)

Thank You. Okay, I have decided to skip the construction year as I have got a lot of work done on the park recently and it is practically ready to open. I am just going to post one last update to show the complete park. That is to come... Thanks, I am going to continue the park as I did receive a few comments. I am mainly doing this so I can boost my skills in RCT3. And as for the Zierer StarShape, It took me a while to get a good concept and I hope it worked. Onto to today's update... ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Construction Year, Final Update... "It has been a long year here at Desert Plains, But construction is finally done and the park will be opening its doors tomorrow on the 6th August Mid-Day. I have some pictures of the park before we open it to the public. There is also a release of the information on our parks main coaster, but you will have to wait for that. So, without further ado..." Solar flare is the parks tower in which the gondola rotates as it rises to the top of the 200ft tower. It has been Designed and Manufactured by Intamin AG. This a play park that has been installed for the little ones. Queue line complete with Q-Jump option. The station where you will board and un-board the ride. Lift and pre-drop before the airtime hills. (Taken from MCBR) Cobra Roll. And finally entering the brake run. The transfer track to the right. This is an overview of the park one day before opening. It was taken by my close friend Joe who will be giving you your park updates from now on, after this one.

Construction Year, Update 3 "Hello, I'm back with my next update. This update will be exciting as I will be releasing information and pictures on the new rides that have appeared onsite and are ready to operate. But before all that I have some photos of the newly constructed buildings.." The two trenches have now been filled with water and have also received some new water features. These two buildings will play host to an ice cream parlour (left building) and a sweet/souvenir shop (right building) "Now for the exciting news! I released a picture of a glimpse of the first ride which is in fact a scrambler ride. We have decided to call it stallion." The ride logo. The ride itself. "Remember that mystery structure ? Well, I decided to invest in a Zierer StarShape. I think it has been placed very well and I'm sure it will have some screaming riders as they face near misses with the building surrounding it. Now this ride we have called DERELIKT." DERELIKT's Logo. This is an on-looking view of DERELIKT. And also an overview of the whole ride. "Finally a park overview to show the amount of construction that's taken place. The small building to the left of DERELIKT is a toilet building which I forgot to include a picture of. I will make sure I get one in my next update." Park Overview.

No Comments ? Well, onto the next update... ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Construction year, Update 2 "Hello, I'm back to give you our next update. The construction team have been working day and night to get the park up to the high standards I am asking for. This means a lot has happened since my last update including the rise of several buildings. Anyway, enough of me, lets get onto this exciting update..." This is the new park entrance, it is yet to receive turn styles. Although it is supporting our new park logo. This building will play host to Customer Services and our version of Fast-track "Q-Jump" This is what we are calling our mystery structure, something is to be placed here but we want to leave you guessing! This is the entrance to our new ride, not giving to much away! "Well, that's the end of this update, But I will be releasing what the mystery structure is involved with in a few hours so stay tuned!" Please comment to keep this thread running, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Bell Gardens [RCT3]

Wow, you've done a really good job there, especially as your using no custom scenery. I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next update -
Just a bit of background information about myself, this is my first ever post on these forums and I hope to make many future posts. I don't have a massive database in my head of ride manufacturers or dates rides were first released Etc. But, I will do research and hopefully have the right information. If I do make any mistakes, If you could kindly just point it out to me and I will take it into account and edit what was previously wrong. Anyway, back to the park... ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* "Hello, My name is John Stevenson and I am the future park manager of Desert Plains. Although the park has only just started construction, I will try my best to bring you updates on the construction of the park. We aim to be open Within 1 year, but at that time only operating with small selection of attractions. I hope you keep your eyes on this thread as I have big plans for the near, yet distant future. The parks logo is yet to be released, quite simply because we don't have one yet. But we do have some photos of construction so far..." Comments are greatly appreciated This is taken from where the entrance will be. Looking down main-street. These are yet to be filled with water and will give the entrance a nice atmosphere. This is the entrance to the parks first restaurant. As you can see some work has already been done on the interior. Overview of the restaurant. And finally, Here's a park overview for all you.
