  1. Went to the park yesterday with friends, and the "temporary" fence in the parking lot by Batman is still up. Shake, Rattle & Roll has been removed, as the building it was in is empty now. Also, there's a teaser poster in the USA section for Dare Devil Dive, which confirms no OTSRs. On another note, I think I saw Tyler (CTU Agent) and his brother walking around the park.
  2. In case you were wondering (you probably weren't), as of yesterday the parking lot is still fenced off near Batman. Which is odd if it was supposed to be for a special event, because it's been up for 2 weeks. No sign of construction yet, though.
  3. This entire coaster - from footers, to track, to electronics - can be put together within the span of several weeks. With the scheduled opening day 9 months away, I wouldn't be surprised if the track hasn't even been fabricated at this time, yet alone shipped across the Atlantic and ready to sit in the park's parking lot. While I would imagine that you are right about the ride being a quick build (considering its size), it was weird seeing a part of the parking lot sectioned off like that. I suppose it could be for anything, but you never know.
  4. I went to SFOG today with some friends and there was no visible construction yet. I'd imagine they won't start construction until later this month or October. However, there was a fenced-off section of the parking lot where track pieces could potentially be stored. I guess we'll find out soon!
  5. I wonder if there are any advantages to using the 6-seater cars vs. regular Eurofighter cars? Or is the decision based purely on the layout/needs of the ride?
  6. It's great to see older pictures of SFOG! The park sure has changed. Thanks for posting those!
  7. I'm really looking forward to this coaster! I think it will be a nice fit for the park. It's awesome that it's not a cloned ride; custom layouts are always great to have.
  8. Kentucky Rumbler at Beech Bend on August 29, 2010. It was my first GCI and really fun!
