Stealth at Thorpe is notorious for killing pidgeons, on opening day there were pidgeon bits everywhere. It seems they just don't expect trains to be hurtling around everywhere, I don't think it's really happened much on Colossus or Inferno though, odd. :S
Ah yes that old chesnut, Colossus can be rough, but it tends to be the train that makes the difference, one is smoother, one is not. Personally however I can say I've never had any problems with headbanging on that thing. :S
Colossus doesn't suck! It just kind of cheats with regards to the inversion record by performing four inlines in a row, great fun though for a rather compact coaster.
Ooh more fabulous coasterness! Does anyone know the name and artist for the song on the Yomiuriland video? Tis rather good and I have no idea what it is. :S
At the park on the 14th the ride was closed for what must have been at least 45 minutes after a rollback... Park seems to be very cautious with what they do with Stealth at the moment. It closed at least four times in the day though much like everything else in the park! Such a shame considering Stealth was running practically perfectly when it first opened.
This may be a rather odd preference but my favourite drop towers are Fabbri towers! My favourite ride, Detonator at Thorpe Park just happens to be one. Although only standing at 105ft the pneumatics at the top offer a punch I've experienced nowhere else.
Well I'm afraid to say I haven't actually written this song yet but I have an idea for one!
'Rollback' to the theme of Love Shack!
An accelerator fan's delight I'm sure.
And oh wow, first post although I've been registered for quite a while!
