I agree with you 100%. Im getting tired of these lame SF effects. Just build a good ride and effects aren't needed. I hate on board audio, especially on wooden coasters. The natural sounds of the coaster and its riders are far better than listening to a song that you can hear anytime you want. The flames are just lame. Terminator would be just as good of a coaster without all that junk.

I would imagine youtube is responsible for a large portion of new TPR visitors. Everytime you type in a coaster name Elissa's head pops up

Okay, I officially hate this thread now. Revolution is one the greatest rides ever built. Sure, it sucks now. But it could be completely fixed for less money and effort than it would take to tear it down. /Yeah, I know. If I hate it, I should stay away. //Continue to talk about your least favorite coasters in this poorly concieved "taer it down!" thread. You can't be serious! This thread is full of different opinions and you pick mine to complain about. You can dislike the thread but you have no right to put down my opinion.

I just rode it on the 23rd on the greenish-blueish train. I think it may have gotten new restraints (still super hard), but they seemed smaller, it didnt give my head a total bashing when I rode it! Nice to see new trains. I will have to give it another shot then the next time I visit the mountain

Im going with Nitro. Yeah its a decent coaster, but I would rank it behind 3 or 4 other B&M hypers. Not a top 20 ride IMHO.

Im in agreement with the person that said Revolution. That is one painful ride! I would also say Superman:TE. Its just a boring ride and I still dont think it should be consider a coaster anyway.

I would have to say Scream. The parking lot was actually more exciting to me.

I just happened to read an article from screamscape and I was directed here. I have just been a spectator for years until now. Elissa does a great job running this site. Can anyone tell me when she started TPR?

^I couldn't agree more. An on-ride video shouldn't influence how good a coaster is. To each their own
