  1. The structure is more likely to be repurposed than demolished. this is not like KK that can easily be demoed given where it’s located in the park
  2. It may just be me, but it feels like this new trademark (the name for a future ride fits) fits with that Screampunk/steampunk-style bird on the construction wall https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=98483547&caseSearchType=US_APPLICATION&caseType=DEFAULT&searchType=statusSearch
  3. Seems like the first "teaser" for whatever they are building for 2025 is up
  4. Here is that tweet. Seems like it would be a dumb thing for them to tweet (and the announcement not end up being a GIGA). As if they announce whatever the 2024 addition is (and it turns out not to be a Giga), their social media pages will be even more toxic than it is now.
  5. Screamscape was sent the email that Selim Bassoul the new CEO sent to the company (You can read that email at the link below). It seems like Six Flags will be restructuring the company and returning to a reporting structure where the park presidents report directly to the CEO, which I would assume means they will have a lot more say/power in how they get to run their park. http://screamscape.com/html/corporate_park_news.htm#SixFlags
  6. Magic Mountain was in the news today for a weird reason more at the link above
  7. It looks like the green lantern building is not being reused? https://epicla.lacounty.gov/SelfService/#/permit/811cd7b5-aa55-4f37-b3c1-e8eeba4c6b7a
  8. Apparently construction walls have gone up around the Green Lantern/Tidal Wave site. If anyone here is going to the park this week please confirm if you can.
  9. Good point. But you would think that they may want to announce this ride as soon as they can so they can get people to signup for the membership (new memberships and those that dropped it last year). The earlier they announce it, the more time they have for people to sign up for the membership right? Especially since SFMM is still the companies “crown jewel”? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. So is Six Flags going to “officially” announce the coaster they are building at SFMM? Or are they going to wait until their yearly reveal date? Now that there will be people in the park it’s going to be pretty obvious to guests that something is being built. And it’s going to be pretty hard to hide it if the ride goes vertical before August. 11. Yah. I mean out here in woodland hills there used to be a super car “show” every weekend in the Westfield Promenade and it was always packed. https://yelp.to/lMke30hN7db http://www.supercarsunday.com/about-us/ LA is one of the few places where something like this WOULD succeed. 12. Tidal wave no longer shows up in the Six Flags app. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
