I think you're right. If I'm not mistaken, there were quite a few littering problems with guests. They continually threw trash into the pond. I also believe there were quite a few insect related problems when the water was there.

If (or more likely, when) it reaches it's demolition process it will surely change the KI skyline for me. I'd almost keep it for the sake of filling the giant-ass gap it will leave in the KI skyline.

It's known simply *and generically* as 'Blue Ice Cream' now.

It is simply being repainted. It looks oodles nicer than the gray/purple color it was before.
