My first TPR Bash and I had a blast, along with everyone in my group. Thanks Robb, Elissa, Busch Gardens Tampa and anyone else involved with getting these bashes together. ERT on Cheetah and Montu was the greatest, well worth getting to the park at the crack of dawn for lol. Both tours were outstanding and both Scott and Norm were great tour guides and you could tell they are very passionate about what they do. A great day all around and look forward to many more TPR events in the future Rise and shine, lets get started Waiting for the sleeping beast to wake Little ones first coaster Loved the ERT on the 2 coasters The real deal and best buddy Be one with the Cheetah Under the bridge, over the sky ride to grandmas house we go They grow up fast! Cheetah pumpkin dodgeball Top of the world. Very eye pleasing element thats for sure Zero to lazy Cheetah

I totally understand what you mean and appreciative with any official events and/or unofficial meets ups you guys come up with. I smell a Drinking race around World Showcase to BBR challenge in the making, last person to toss their tortillas wins lol

Plus now its only a 2 hour flight for them to get up to NYC instead of a 6 hour flight. Scott's Pizza Tours and Build a Muppet - the real reason for the move hahaha

Domo arigato mr Domo! Hopefully with the Bush Gardens Bash just about sold out that bodes well for future Florida bashes and shows that there is a market for them although more pricey. Robb and Elissa - If you build it, they will come.

I don't know about that one, Legoland will be there everyday compared to how often do you have the chance to go to a TPR Bash at Busch Gardens with everything this event has lined up for us, not that often. For me the bash wins hands down. Also HOS itself starts well after the time Legoland closes for the day so technically you could do both. Besides Legoland is going to be a mad house day.

Lol you got it. And I see I can get into the chat room on my iPhone. Double awesome!

So now that team Alvey is relocating to the sunshine state do you think that will also improve the chances of having some more Florida bashes in the future? Busch Gardens Bash hasn't even happened yet and already excited for what the future holds for Florida Bashes

From what I have read Animal Kingdom was supposed to open with a land dedicated to mythical creatures (Beastly Kingdom) and was supposed to have a dragon themed coaster but all scraped with budget cuts (IOA stole the idea and hence Dueling Dragons). Tree of Life even had a unicorn and dragon carved in there somewhere.

This is what Disney posted on their blog moments ago. "We have great news to share today. At a press conference happening right now at Walt Disney Imagineering, Bob Iger and Tom Staggs just announced a long-term creative partnership with James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to bring the fantasy world of AVATAR to life at Disney Parks. And it’ll all begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. James and his producing partner Jon Landau and their team at Lightstorm Entertainment will serve as creative consultants on the project and will work side-by-side with our Walt Disney Imagineers as we dream up experiences that will take our guests deep into worlds of AVATAR like never before. There are also two sequels to the record setting first film in the works, which will offer more fascinating stories, characters and locations to explore in the AVATAR universe. Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort is planned as the site of the first AVATAR-themed land with construction expected to begin by 2013. We believe Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great fit for this project because it was created to give guests the opportunity to experience the worlds of animals and nature – real and mythical – in new ways. Disney’s Animal Kingdom also celebrates adventure, living in harmony with nature and environmental stewardship – themes that are deeply rooted in the story of AVATAR. The design phase on the Disney’s Animal Kingdom project has just begun so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details. Got questions about the announcement? If so, Tom Staggs will be answering them in a special Q&A blog post later today. Just submit your name, city where you’re from and your question to questionsfortom@disney.com and then check the Disney Parks Blog later to see some of the answers."

I've stayed there. It's OK. The rooms are clean and you get a free breakfast with a waffle maker. It's right by the police department. The place has kind of a maze-like layout, though. I think $55 is a little high to pay for the hotel, but the closeness to BG can't be beat and it's probably one of the better hotels on Busch Blvd. I stayed there a couple years back and left my cell phone in the room after checking out. Got to Busch and realized I forgot it a few hours later and called to the hotel and who ever was cleaning the rooms that day was actually honest and turned it in to the front desk. Picked it up after the day was over at BG and headed home. Just wanted to give a positive review for LaQuinta.
