I can't imagine how busy it will be there in August I went in early May a few years ago and the place was empty, we went on Dragon Khan like 9 times in a row and never waited more than 5 minutes oh I love that coaster

Haha thanks I did mean quietest, so I will plan to break in around 2am, get all the rides up and running and be outta there by 5am !

generally, what are the quiestest times of the day at SFMM ? Here in australia the quiestest times are the first and last hour of the day plus about an hour around lunch it is also pretty quiet... Is it same over there ? It sounds like I could get on x2 at the start and the end of the day.. Plus don't forget to add Terminator:Salvation on to the lists, it will be open in June when I will be there

thanks for that list I suppose it really depends on the crowds on each day but is it possible to get it all done in one day ? or should I plan for two days there ?

There are rumors this is re-opening in a different location - the Neon mall also in Vegas - is there any truth in that ?

I will definitely be going on a weekday, if I am there before opening could I get straight down to x2 and tatsu and get them over with in the first half hour ? what would be a good order to do the main coasters ?

I can only hope it is rainy/cloudy when I get there in June , as I refuse to wait more than about 30 minutes on any ride... yet I read of 2 hour waits on some of these.. crazy .... Even though the coasters are rubbish in Australia at least I only have 3 minute waits on most of them

Cedar Point it is then 1 full week of Cedar Point LOL ! except I won't be over that way until November and they are closed then, have to wait till next year ...

I can relate to that, I made that dream come true in 2003, I was amazed to be there. I think the best times to go to the GC parks are weekdays when it isn't school or public holidays. Damn lucky ! I might be getting there later this year, I've got a few trips this year over that way so one of them is reserved for six flags magic mountain another will be either Canada's wonderland or cedar point depending on where I end up and yeah the best day down under is on a cloudy weekday during school term

for TOT that has to be the first ride of the day and if you are lucky you can get at least 5 or 6 in the first hour and then the line is too long - and that leaves you with the giant drop for the rest of the day I seriously have been on the giant drop at least 20 times in one day, sometimes there is just nobody there, and you just walk around and get straight back on the very next ride.. but I think there really is no technique to finding a quiet day Generally you would say weekdays, and I usually went on a monday or tueday every week but sometimes I went on a sunday and about half the time sunday was dead, other times it was packed with buses full of japanese tourists hope you get back soon I can only dream of the day I get to Ohio and the mythical Cedar Point !!

I agree with that , Dreamworld staff do seem nicer than Movieworld generally, but that said there are a few great operators at MW (just a few plus Dreamworld sacked a fair fe management positions late 2008 so I think all staff are scared of further cuts so do their best to be nice LOL

yeah well I m looking at the 2nd week of June since the first week of June they are only open to 6pm but in the 2nd week they are open until 10pm ! any reason for that ? is taht when school holidays start or something ? If so I might still go in the 1st week minus thousands of schoolkids...

because right now they have the annual pass for the same price as 1 day entry so I want to buy it now because if I turn up on the day It might cost more.... So I guess I just bring my receipt and they will sort it all out when i get there and give me my coupons and my pass does anyone what an annual pass normally costs ? or is $59.99 the usual price ? if it's not on special, I'll just wait until I get there to buy it... but if it's on sale I'll grab it now....
