  1. It's not a robocoaster, trust me. Universal have a copyright mark on Robo Coasters for 4 seasons, I believe. And for christs sake, it is NOT a B&M, at all. Since when do B&M make bi-rail track?
  2. I somehow doubt that, what with the fact that Magic Mountain currently has a coaster under construction and all. Granted, back in 2000 they had 3 coasters under construction at the same time, but they were all announced at once. My guess is still on the Alton secret weapon coaster. But that's just because we don't know where this track is going, whereas we don't know what kind of coaster alton's getting, so it's just connect-the-dots. I would like to think that Alton is getting something a bit more interesting than another B&M. Even if the ones they do have are great. Simply because Alton Towers is the british version of the old Coney Island - in terms of being a hotbed for rollercoaster prototypes and advances. Trust me, it WONT be for Alton, or any other British or European park. Like I stated the other day, as far as I'm aware, all European B&M's except for Dragon Kahn were manufactured in switzerland, including Blivvy, Air and nemesis.
  3. Can I just say that it will NOT be going to a European park. As far as I am aware, pretty much all of Europe's B&M's in the past have been manufactured in their original Switzerland plant/factory. This includes Nemesis, Air and Oblivion, so we can confirm that is probably won't be SW6 for Alton, or Toverland's Batman clone. American parks are obviously quick to announce major enw rides like this, so my bet is on it going to Asia or Australia. China is the Boom Town of theme parks at the moment.
  4. Hey, Just to clear up the confusion in 1 or 2 posts on page 1, Happy Valley are building TWO parks this year, one scheduled to open 2008, in Chengdu, and another in Shanghai, planned to open next year. The Superman clone talked about, is in the Shanghai park, alongside China's first wooden coaster, a half-pipe coaster, and possibly a Dive-machine. So: Chengdu: (Opens 2008/early 2009) Intamin Mega0Lite Spinning Coaster Mine-Train SLC Shanghai: (Opens mid-late 2009) Gravity Group Woodie Intamin half Pipe B&M Flyer (Probably themed and named similar to Beijing's crystal wings) Possibly a B&M Dive Machine. --Luke
