About Freestyle Music Park
Owned and operated by FPI MB Entertainment LLC (FPI MBE), Freestyle Music Park is a 55-acre theme park located in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The world-wide destination for the celebration of music, Freestyle Music Park has more than 50 attractions for fans of all ages. These attractions include roller coasters, rides, shows, children’s play areas, restaurants, cafés, retail stores, a multi-purpose live music amphitheatre and a park-wide sound system, which creates an all-encompassing, rich family-fun experience.
Immediately entering the gates, guests are fully immersed in the language of music, covering all areas from country, reggae, beach music, pop, R&B, alternative, Christian, and disco. At Freestyle Music Park, guests can indulge their inner “rock star,” while enjoying the park’s many rides, shows and other attractions.
Plans currently call for Freestyle Music Park to be the launching point for the Freestyle Park brand throughout the world, as FPI MBE plans to open additional attractions and entertainment venues in the coming years, under the Freestyle Park banner. The Myrtle Beach Park is the first to feature a music theme.

If you go to the Facebook page, under comments, they're talking about how the park is gonna honor the 2008 annual passes, although I haven't found anything saying that anywhere.
If that is true, then that's a very wise decision on their part to get people to come back and check out the park, and give them a chance to renew their interest so they will buy a pass for their future seasons if they have future seasons...
EDIT: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=191495555432&topic=8013 there's the official announcement, via Facebook discussion board post, about the 2008 passes.
