  1. I have never ridden titan to know...is floater air time similar to the feeling you get on drop rides? The texas cyclone had ejector air time correct? I know people hate it when people try to compare this to texas cyclone (only thing that I think is close to comparision)... but do you think the bullet has more, same, or less air time than texas cyclone did?
  2. I am really curious about the air time too. I hope it has alot. That's why I had liked the texas cyclone so much. I'm pretty sure I saw you riding it when I was there yesterday! Ya'll looked like you were having a blast! EDIT: (You answered that already -Which car did you sit in?) Do you recall much air time? -GG
  3. How awesome! I can't wait! My bf and I are going to go down there this weekend whenever it opens. Crossing my fingers....
  4. I'd certainly call first. They were still running tests earlier today. I agree with Jason. I would be surprised if it is actually open unless you have confirmed with kemah themselves.
  5. How do you know its open? Where you down there or are you looking at the website with the prices?
  6. I am not an expert but reading the forum.... it is the most complex woodie design M&V has built so far. First, it has the most crossovers . Second, it's complex design (only 1 acrea!). Have you seen the photos and detail of this coaster? Specially the part right after the first drop? Most of the tracks are hidden inside the structure itself. Hope this helps.
  7. Have a little faith. This is a very complex design. Adjustments needed to be made and with the rain this year it has slowed down and complicated the timeline. It will be open very soon...
  8. So let me make sure I read your post right...if everything goes as plan... it will be open this weekend (hopefully)?
  9. I posted this on another site but thought I would post it hear too. The website is up for the bullet. http://boardwalkbullet.com/. (without www). The link on kemah to it was not working as of yet.
  10. Awesome news! So hopefully a soft opening for this weekend or so?...just thought about it...that is very unlikely...closer to another week is a better guess.
  11. Seriously? Wow! I wasn't expecting to hear that for atlease another week! Did they not run the 3 days of testing like they were going to do?
  12. I am definately disappointed in another delay but like you say...I rather see it done correctly. Hopefully the harder fix won't take a long long time and this piece of art will soon be running full of excite customers! Safety first...over G limits can be dangerous right? The human body can only hand so much.
  13. Wow that seaction after the first drop looks more wicked than it looks in the pictures! Can't wait to ride it! Now I am that more excited to ride! VERY SOON Houston area will have a coaster up & running that we can enjoy again!
  14. Wow! That looks crazy! So are they still working on adjustments or are they done?
  15. Wow! Amazing photos! Every week ya'll out do yourselfs! Can't wait to ride! Hopefully Dean will leave us alone so it won't delay it any longer that it has already been delayed with bad weather. I am crossing my fingers.
  16. I never notice the zoo at the downtown location. This must of been added within the last couple years. It's been about that long since I have been to that location. Maybe when I have enough money to spurge I should go eat there on my lunch break since I literaly can walk there. Yup, they have two Aquarium restaurants now. One in downtown Houston. The downtown location has some midway games, a ferris wheel and some kiddie rides. The Downtown location also has a small zoo and a train ride. The Boardwalk location has grown big time in the past 2 years and from the looks of things they probably won't stop with the Boardwalk Bullet. It would have been really cool if they could have built a coaster at the downtown location!
  17. So when you say everyone is expecting it to beat 51 mph... about how much more are we talking about? I know no one knows for sure but what is the norm we could expect if we had to take a really good guess? Do coasters normally out beat there expected speed? If so what is the average, range etc. of the norm for this? I would guess it would range around 5mph. Just curious.
  18. What is that Yellow Object on the front car? Is it a camera or a speed device?
  19. Do you think they will open it on a weekday if its ready? Or do you think they will wait till a weekend?
  20. Wow that one video actually shows alot of the ride not visable normaly.
