Last day of the trip was all about spending some more time at Phantasialand and ERT on Black Mamba. As usual... here's a selection of the pics of that day. post 1 of 4 what's up? I have no clue how i got this picture when there's no train.... Back inside the station.. In the que area you can get pretty close to the ride.. Plastic bag Having fun? Going up.. Part2 of this small update. I did not have a tripod with me so i just made a selection of the pictures with the least amount of blur due to movement of the camera (and/or lens) I'll try to bring a tripod to the Midwest trip.... i did not fall on my back after drinking too much Since our favorite bar was not opened that evening.. most of us ended up here It did not matter how far you walked.. you would always see some kind of theming around you.. Water in front of the hotel.. or not? It's easy to do but effective if done the right way... I like it No comment Lights Now did you get her phone number? As said before i would do a seperate update regarding the hotel at Phantasialand and the Asia Night there.. The hotel was fantastic (to me) and that's why (to me) it deserves it's own updates. Asia Nights gave the possibilty to see the hotel and a small part of the park in a different light as well.. I'll try to give some impressions regarding the atmosphere. Hope you like it. Enough said.. onto the pics.. these will be added in 2 posts.. Part1 The sun is almost down.. it's getting darker outside After entering here's a part of the view.. Post2 of this 4 post update regarding pictures from Toverland. Remember that this is just a selction from all the pics i've taken during the trip "best" ride of the park Children are having fun while the parents can relax on a bench Coaster action TPR's approven "triangle". I do believe it's called "toverhoed" More playground for the kids. You don't wanna be a parent and have to fetch your child ehm.. i'm having a bad day and cannot remember the english word for this ride.. Indoor fun ride Playground Random theming.. seeling of the connection between the 2 halls Fun House funny feature Back inside, the logflume Can't wait to see how this will look in a year.. Trying to capture the beauty of Troy Looking back at the indoor part.. Secaond (and best part of day 3) was Toverland. A little fun park at Sevenum (Netherlands) with a brand new coaster called Troy. I've made a selection of the pics (including some more regarding the park) Hope you like them Robb?? what was that pink thingy?? First reactions Lou was also there First time first drop goodness I was just in time to see Robb's "first" run on Troy The clouds give a totally different feel to the area.. Dark clouds were gathering.. water and children... Logflume theming Troy seen from the Boosterbike station (including some track parts....) Still indoor I do prefer this one (to the pose a few seconds later) "our" special area fot that day (including open bar ) One of many indoor things Indoor fun That's us ( i guess) Entrance and some wood to the left indeed, looking forward to this one..

Last part of this mornings visit to Phantasialand. We would be back for the evening and for the next day (including ERT on Black Mamba). Those pictures will follow later.. The number of onride photo's is a bit limited today (sorry about that) but i wanted to take some more pictures from the park itself. Day 3 of the Mini-europe trip did start at Phantasialand. Here follows a selection of the pictures taken during the morning. I should be able to do seperate updates within the next 24 hours regarding Toverland and our hotel together with the Asia Night which was there as well. The second park of the day was Holiday Park. I'm not gonna mention the GPS (again) just show a selection of the collection of pics i took at this park. It looked like a lot of fun for most... Pound it??? Another tree in the way... For some.. it looked like a bigger challenge.. relaxing might be a good word for some enjoying this ride.. High up in the air.. Looks like no problem to them.. During the day i did notice that there was something on the lens.. but could not figure out how to remove it while still taking the photo's. In the end (since i don't like to RTFM) i figured out how to open up the mirror in front of the lens so it was possible to take new pictures the next day.. Now it is time for that second day Thanks to GPS (not) we were nice on time at the first park of the second day. I guess i can comment with the pics which should say enough.. Lots of different expressions Somebody is having fun Hair time Airtime Green, air and a coaster.. Quick run through in the que area gave this shot.. What's going on in lou's mind at that moment? Owh my.. i must be on a video somewhere.. All kinds of things happening here.. there was a tv/movie vrew present at the park.. the car is now just before the "get hit by green stuff" turn smile for the camera Some pay attention to the ride.. and others.. More lift action within this lovely green park Thumbs up and a lovely station i did like the looks of the coasters Owh my?? how "crazy" can somebodey be The park for this morning Every winter i drive along the same road as the bus did.. and everytime i forget to take a pic (or even visit) this "park"

Indeed that's quite funny anyway.. i'm using a Nikon D50 with 2 lenses.. 28-100mm and a 70-300mm lens.. For the rest.. practice.. pratice and more practice... More pictures will follow in about 12 hours.. (i would like to make sure that i don't post pictures which robb has already used..)

part 3.. the most important part i guess and off course the nature part of the park.. too fast? I just loved this ride... some random people during ERT camera action thumbs up what to say? I guess now is the time to share some of the pics i've taken during this trip with the rest of the world. I would like to take the oppurtunity to thank everybody that was there for making it an awesome experience. It was a blast and i'm now even more excited for the Midwest trip later this year.
