I've been working on this t-shirt shop for a couple of months now and today is the grand opening. As far as I know, the website ships internationally so all you non-Americans can still check it out. If you've got a Myspace account, add us to your friends and tell everyone you know about it if you like it.

So, because I'm a little too lazy to get a real job over the summer, I'm going to design some t-shirts. I'm going to set up a little online shop, but I need a name first. You guys here are always so responsive that I figured I would ask here. So the top three names I have it narrowed down to are: Starlight, Aerobeacon, and Solstice. Vote away!

Does anyone know how to obtain these permits? Also, I don't know whether to build a coaster or a dark ride. Certainly the coaster would be more thrilling, but may be damage in the weather and not fun for all ages. A dark ride would be fun and for all ages, but less thrilling and only functional Halloween and other special events. I suppose another option is a monorail or freefall ride. So confused!

OMG this is the most amazing thread I've ever seen! I had no idea so many people built backyard rides. I'm in the process of building my own (sketching). These ideas just opened a whole new window for me. Any tips on keeping cost low? How can you help your coaster brave the weather?

Lately I have been very interested in designing t-shirts for a website called Threadless. Right now I have a t-shirt in the running that I desperately need good ratings for.
