I am going to download this tonight, so excited! I have a question... there are two tiers to buy... the Parkitect 15.00 (basic) and the soundtrack version for 25.00. What is the difference? Does this mean the 15.00 version has no soundtrack to it, or simply that the 25.00 version includes the soundtrack to listen to outside of the game? (I know this one also includes wallpapers) Just curious, thanks!

I think you should do Wicked Cyclone next, more compact and a great layout to model.

9/7/2015. Adrenaland lives!
Hey guys, I know it's been a while but this project is very much alive after a catastrophic computer problem caused file corruption, Adrenaland Resort was rebuilt completely from scratch with more custom scenery, more detail, and what I hope is more experience and real life ride technology applied to the park.
You will note several changes in the landscape, the lighthouse now sits higher up on a hill as it will be the icon landmark of the entire resort.
Riptide is now an electromagnetically launched sequel to its lost sister, to be honest this one came out a lot better and will be the focus of today's update.
Thanks for checking out my park!
This indoor Reverchon crazy mouse has special effects and some great drops! The ART monorail runs through the center giving passengers a peek.
The giant wheel is now at the center of the park, serving as a hub zone.
New South Boardwalk (Grand Prix, mini golf, Beach Blasters S&S Towers)
The new waterpark Neptune's Kingdom is not done yet, more on that later...
Aww yeah... Riptide 2.0 in action!
Airtime a-plenty.
Ah the scream of magnets and the salt in the air makes for a great New England summer day.
The vertical loop
Riptide's MCBR and maintenance bay
Gracefully soaring over the Atlantic
The station
Sit on the right side for an acceptable amount of wetness.
Smuggler's Den 2.0 (no peeking inside yet)
One of the new lower landings on the boardwalk

If I get some extra cash I will certainly consider contributing to the kickstarter, this game looks like exactly what many of us want, as previously mentioned, an RCT-like game with newer rides and general updates.
The wing coaster with catwalks looks particularly awesome and I am loving the selection of flat rides so far! Here's the rides I saw so far on the screenshots for those who do not read the blog...
Coasters: Suspended (Arrow), Mack Wild Mouse, B&M Wing Coaster, Arrow Looper, Mini Coaster, Wooden Coaster
Tracked Rides: Suspended Monorail, Steam Train
Flat Rides: Top Spin, Topple Tower, Observation Tower, Teacups, Scrambler, Ferris Wheel, Pirate Ship, Carousel

While I slightly prefer the Huss giant frisbee I loved Psyclone at Wonderland and I recall the motor makes this great sound while it's running. I am glad to see Kings Dominion add another modern flat ride to round out their collection.
Psyclone at CW made by our friends at Mondial
Whirrrrrrrrr....
Nice choice KD

^ I am also trying to find the person, phone number and or email of someone at Cedar Point that would ship to me, could one of you that have ordered or a CD staff point us in the right direction? Thanks in advance !
I will be painting and assembling my Fury 325 tonight , I'll show when it's done.
By the way the new looping coaster model looks great!

I am personally very pleased overall and excited to ride this next year, if these images prove to be legitimate. Griffon is in my Top 10 so I'm sure this will be great. Dive machine drops have a unique feeling to me, and that moment of anticipation in the holding brakes is so effective !
Mostly I'm excited to see a zero-g roll, after seeing one out on Baron I was hoping Cedar Point's not so secret project would sport one, wish granted!
-
I am so excited to see two compact electromagnetic coasters coming to the east coast next year! I loved Tempesto and Gale Force looks even better! Between this and Phobia I already have two coasters within a 5 mile radius that are already quite thrilling and we haven't even gotten to the "big park's" announcements yet!
It's just great in general to see a better quality of coaster coming to seaside parks like Iron Shark and now GF.
Edit: pkdcoaster, Flitzer and Python are both still operating (Python kind of hurts so brace yourself...) Get those credits quick, they will both removed for Gale Force and the unknown coaster project for 2016. (which speculation seems to indicate will encompass the very vertical footprint of Gale Force)

You sir, win the internet.

Hi Dorneykid, I actually emailed Matt Helms from merchandising and he called after, and then financial dept. took my cc# and shipped. His email is Matt.Helms@carowinds.com, hope this helps!
-
I hope overall the nano coasters are successful in sales at CP and Carowinds, I have only built Thunder Road so far and it was super up to build and I think it looks great! Maybe we will even see a dive machine model for sale next year, might be time to buy a tiny bottle of orange paint...
Cost wise I know Carowinds is charging $29.99 for Fury 325 model , I paid $19 for the prototype racer which will be sold at KD as Rebel Yell and Carowinds as Thunder Road respectively. They also have been showing off a Sheikra prototype so hopefully Busch parks will want to sell them.

Coaster Dynamix has been posting some images on their facebook of their upcoming projects including the two new Cedar Point models in addition to MF.
Gatekeeper (with gates!)
Top Thrill Dragster (This one will be fun to paint!)
Not Cedar Point, but the Coney Island Cyclone will be for sale directly on the CD website eventually.
-
Carowinds was very nice about letting me order one by phone, they are sending out my Fury model tomorrow. For those of you interested in getting the "whole set" of CD Nanocoasters from CP, and want to order, you may be better off waiting until all 3 are done and just order them all together. In addition to Millennium Force, they will also be selling Gatekeeper and Top Thrill Dragster in the future. (I have my fingers crossed for a Maverick!)
-
I ordered my Fury model this week and they were very nice about it over the phone.
Thank you CD for making another awesome product, these look great! Can't wait to order the CP ones once I paint and assemble Fury! (I'll be sure to show it off here )
-
Nanocoaster models from Coaster Dynamix were shipped over the weekend to the park! They made a model for Thunder Road and Fury 325. If anyone picks one up please share some photos!

Nice start man, I love parks set in the mountains!
I've been working on an RCT3 park set on mountain peaks for the last couple weeks, I may show off some progress once my first B&M has support beams.
Keep up the great work!

^ Ah, ok shame on them for showing Intaminish track. at first glance I thought it might be some kind of promotion like that for Coca-Cola for example. I was just at the park a couple of weeks ago and every time I go by Dragon fire station I think what a shame it is to leave that plot open. I believe the station is currently used for a haunt but I can see it becoming a new coaster Someday.
I try not to look too far into promos like this but I can fantasize about a maverick are blue fire style coaster coming to the park One day. Busch Gardens in Cedar point or two of the best parks in the world, any new addition to Busch Gardens is just gravy at this point.
-
So another website is showing images of a promotional display being built near Darkastle. The area is taped off with red Coca Cola queue tape, and a sign reads "something thrilling is coming".
What's interesting is underneath some cardboard packaging you can clearly see images of blood red coaster track on a background of a forest. The track looks realistic too, like Intamin or Mack style.
Could anyone going to the park this week gather a little Intel on this teaser?

We stopped at Seaside Heights, a city close to my heart and full of happy childhood memories to check progress since the tragedy of Hurricane Sandy.
It was sad to see the big coaster and Stillwalk Manor gone but the park has been Zamperla'd out with some nice new stuff.
For years I have been trying to ride the unusual Wizards Cavern dark ride coaster. The first time I went it was closed due to low crowds. Second time I went , the replacement was in pieces (Pirate Hideaway) This time I was able to ride, and there was a bit more track in the building than I actually expected. A fun little thing!
Don't mind if I do...
Not so crowded these days, I hope to see it return to its former self one day, some new attractions will be a big help.
Shore Shot survived the wind
A pretty centerpiece for this little park
New Zamperla Air Race
Super Storm was great!
Unusual lite drop tower that spins while it bounces
Jess and I take a spin on Pirate Hideaway
The facade and drops
Spiral lift
From 2010 when she was new
In 2010, ah that new coaster shine

Just some photos from my June visit...
Tempesto and Verbolten were both new to me and each had about a 45 minute wait. Verbolten was amazing , much better than I anticipated, just wish we had time for another ride. None of the other rides had wait times at all, including my favorite beast in the park , Griffin!
What cracks me up is everyone in line was conplaining about the cheesy preboarding video , but not many people could understand how to buckle their harnesseses. I thought it was cool they give fanny packs to hold your stuff.
It's small but it's fierce! -the late , great Robin Williams
Love the colors on this thing
Escape from Pompeii, the operators were cat calling ladies over the PA, other than that the theming was awesome, I remember when this was the new big ride , still great but don't sit in the front row unless you want wet shoes all day, the boat fills with water as it crests the lift.
After just riding Fury the day before, Apollo doesn't pack the punch it used to but it's still a classic in a beautiful setting
Apollos trains feature gold "finery" oooooooo
To France!
Alpengeist seems to have gotten a bit rough , but Banshee spoiled us
No line and air conditioning and I this day my favorite dark ride outside of Disney, being a former Indiane Jones ToTFE dispatcher for 6 years makes it hard to dethrone ...
Sky buckets!
Nessie is still great
I hope this coaster outlives me... I can't take another Arrow heartbreak right now, still recovering from the Wolf leaving
Majestic horsey horse
We are ready to fahrt!
Super Griffin and it's daunting lift
See? Daunting.
Cedar Point... You can rebuild it. You can make it stronger, faster, better. You have the technology.
Woosh
Would love to see one of these big dive machines do a zero g roll like Baron
Down again for maintenance two years later still couldn't ride oh well always next time

I visited June 17 and man it was hot, over 100 degrees! The front gate was very crowded but most people wisely went for the water park. Some notes...
Fury is my new #1 coaster out of my 294, which is no surprise since Leviathan was my favorite before it came along. I am in the minority of speed coaster fans , while the ones 200 feet or less haven't touched my top 10 and can't dethrone the Intamins up there, these giga speed coasters are amazing and I love the low to the ground maneuvers and that first drop is killer !
Intimidator is still good, no line for any coasters today on account of the heat.
Afterburner was better than I remember, even after riding Banshee last year.
The staff here was very nice for the most part, and were encouraging and giving lots of ice water to guests.
Banshee's badass older brother
Afterburn
Love these intense inverted loops
No wait time at all
I still love you Intimidator
It's just...
... I've found someone else.
You can "see the heat" in this photo
So good, plus the guy working here told us all the new coasters coming in the next 30 years.
Jessie and I love B&Ms... She got her nails done to celebrate Fury!
I took home a plush hornet... I couldn't resist. You could win stingers and hornet helmets too, but for some reason... No one was wearing them in the 100 degree heat
We made it !
Best drop I've ever done, the slowing lift hill at the summit makes acrophobics like me cringe a little.
Amazingly fast and massive amounts of airtime
Sideways airtime is always great
Loved this element
We love it! We love the South and we will be back for the next one! Thanks for the hospitality Carolina's!

So this is a Tennessee armored millipede we saw waiting for the train. Do not touch them. They piss cyanide apparently.
Now onto some shots of Dollywood...My first time visit was not dissapointing. The landscape was beautiful and second only to Busch Gardens IMO. I was a lite surprised to see so many older folks working in the park.
I checked out Shot Rod construction site and tried to imagine what the layout might be like. How exciting would it be to launch up into a stall inversion before vanishing into the woods... I am intrigued to see how this turns out and I'm just waiting for those white RMC trucks to show up.
Cinderella proudly pulling it's rolling stock. I have a soft spot for iron horses, I've got to say, the train ride gave me the chills when that whistle blew.
Barnstormer intense Screamin' Swing from Stan and Sons of Utah, only one arm was running. These things are a little unnerving but great fun!
It's a long way to the top of the unique Mountain Slidewinder but well worth it, great place to take photos of Wild Eagle.
They had one of the best log rides I had ever been on. It seems all the rides have great theming and show scenes and this was no exception.
I loved Blazing Fury! I really hope it gets the KBF Calico treatment someday though. Such a unique creation should be preserved and reimagined for a new generation.
This electric powered dark ride has the elements of a coaster and some impressive scenes , the drops surprised me a bit.
Awesome cute fun
Mystery Mine was a tight fit for me and very shaky... Those show scenes tho...
Mystery Mine features a unique inversion that shatters most of your bones.
TN Tornado, really short but shockingly smooth for an Arrow.
Thunderhead was great but not my favorite coaster at the park seeing how I am in the dying breed of B&M fanboys.
Relentlessly rough and intense , and quite a long ride
Firechaser Express was another great surprise , awesome show scene where the train reverses.
My favorite photo from this beautiful day
I was very taken by the eagle sculpture. I couldn't get over the attention to detail.
My favorite ride in the park
Having only been on Gatekeeper for Wing Coasters, I found this coaster more intense but I prefer GK. This loop makes your feet tingle on account of the g's
I could stand here all day and watch this zero g roll. But id rather ride it...
Giant flat spin, loved it!

I will post my trip report here rather than make an entire new thread... Other pieces can be found in the BGE and Carowinds threads for B&M photo goodness.
Jessica and I went to Dollywood and the Smoky Mountain area for the very first time from June 14 to the 21st. The weather was hot and crowds were light to medium. One of the things I was most impressed with was the beauty of Gatlinburg and all the different attractions on the turnpike. The kind southern folks were a relief from the Massholes I'm used to dealing with back home. The first part of my report will focus on the attractions of Pigeon Forge and beautiful nearby Gatlinburg .
First off, to the member who suggested the Smoky Mountain Moonshine distillery... Thank you! It was so much fun and no where else in the world have I been able to drink such good stuff for free. We ended up taking home a few jars. If you are in the area you must check this place out!
Other attractions we did were as follows:
Ripley's Aquarium of The Smokies: I have been to at least a dozen aquariums including Long Beach and Boston and this one actually ended up bein my favorite. The shear variety of creatures, wonderful architecture and theming make this worth the money! You can also purchase a combo ticket here to include other Ripley's attractions like the Haunted Adventure, Moving Theater, Odditorium, World Record Museum, and mini golf courses. We opted out of this because we wanted to do more rides and buy moonshine instead... How is the haunted house ? I am a big fan of walk throughs, I regret not checking it out.
Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster: One of several in the area. This is the first time I have been on a mountain coaster and it was a little alarming how fast in went ! I was completely thrilled and awe struck by the beauty of he mountains. That solo lift hill climb was wonderful in the woods.
Jurassic Jungle: This boat ride could have been better. It was long only because of many stops along the way. With a little more love and effort this ride could be great. Save your money and do the mountain coasters instead !
Gatlinburg Sky Ride: a must see! What a view from the top!
Penguins ! This one is named Star.
A giant spider crab , a great selection of exotic creatures here.
A cuttlefish! As David Attenborough calls them: little sneaks.
Oh my.
Oooooo barracuda!
Beautiful structure
11 shots of moonshine and this becomes a good idea...
Excited to ride but it was a bit of a letdown.
Rawr! We are popular because of the success of Jurassic World , give us your money!
I think they were Intamin boats...
Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster
3 lift hills take you to the 400 foot summit
Jessie enjoyed
Ripley's Haunted Adventure starts with an inclinator which is rather interesting. How is this maze?
You must try the sky ride
So lovely
Gatlinburg from the mountain peak
There is a secret house at the top where you have to get off and reboard. There's a wedding chapel, gift shop and gem mining up here.

I just want to say I am loving Parkitect! The developers are doing a great job and I can't wait to see what other rides are coming. I am building up a park now , will show some screens soon.
