  1. Hello Disney fans! I know this game isn't on the same level as RCTW, Parkitect, Planet Coaster, etc. but with a lot of coaster and Disney fans on here I thought I would see if there's any other people playing this new game available on iTunes and Android.

There are many landmark Disney attractions unlocked as you progress such as California Screamin', Space Mountain etc. and then other attractions, shops and eateries which you can place anywhere you like in your own version of a Disney theme park. So far I have found the game to be very fun and there isn't any real need to spend actual money in this freemium game.

If you play, show me your progress and how you have set up your park! I am looking to add neighbors if interested please send

    Me a friend request. https://m.facebook.com/sean.costa.9?ref=bookmarks

It looks like an upcoming update will have Frontierland and Adventureland but so far Tomorrowland, Paradise Pier, Fantasyland, and Toon Town areas are unlocked. What do you think of this new game?

I'm hoping the next update includes my old work locations: Big Thunder and Indy!

  2. Hello folks, here is update 2 for Port Costa Resort on Parkitect!

I have begun building Evergreen Peak, themed to a mountain mining town, it will feature 2 major rides including the newly opened Evergreen Peak Log Flume as well as an indoor/outdoor mine cart coaster which is currently in development.

Boardwalk Super Slide and Lighthouse Spin are now installed at Lighthouse Landing, and a new miniature railroad connects the Ferris Wheel hub to what will soon be Forgotten Mountain. Forgotten Mountain will be themed to a lost jungle city where dinosaurs still roam!

After building these new additions I am itching to get another major coaster installed. I realize many of the park's coasters will be B&Ms so I will alternate between B&M and other coasters as to not burn out on one concept. I am thinking of making the mine coaster the next build... or possibly the T-Rex wooden coaster concept... What do you think should go in first?

You can choose to walk, or take the train to Forgotten Mountain (yet to be built)

Lighthouse Landing has some new rides, Lighthouse Spin is very popular!

  3. Hey guys, thanks for the support and kind comments! I was not sure if there would be much want to see a Parkitect creation with the software still in alpha, but I'm glad to see people are checking out my park.

Midgetman, I agree they are a little tricky but the elements you can make are so much fun ! My only gripe is the lack of supports in some areas , in this case the Immelmann and vertical loop. I hope custom supports come out soon as I specialize in B&M coasters.

Flip and Paradox, thanks again for looking ! Do you all have Parkitect ? I'd love to see what the TPR community is coming up with. Paradox, it just takes a little time to get used to the game but I'm flattered you would say I have skills. I would be happy to share any tips , tutorials , mod help etc. as I want to support the developers and help get some attention to the software , and also because I want to encourage creativity in general !

    Never stop creating!

I am very excited to see a game like Parkitect come along, as another TPR member said, it seems like it was made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, let's support them the best we can!

I'm off for another build session, I'll be sure to show you the next completed set of rides in the near future.

  4. Hello, thanks for checking out my first Parkitect theme park: Port Costa Resort. PCR will include a theme park, hotels, and shopping districts. The setting is a New England beach with a boardwalk and lighthouse on the eastern edge of the park.

The first update will show you the first additions to Port Costa Resort, including Supernova and Renegade!

This park is a work in progress and will be updated as the alpha and new mods continue to update, enjoy the photos from the sneak preview...

Zierer delivered the first ever Star Shape attraction in the United States last week and she's a beauty!

  5. Wow! Thew new objects are amazing especially the inverted coaster and Star Shape. I am so impressed by the mods and custom scenery people are creating. Kudos to the developers for making it so easy to put in custom scenery and rides, I will be posting some of my projects in the near future.

I have a quick question... If I have an existing park, and a new official alpha release comes out, or a new unofficial mod comes out, will I be able to apply the new items to the existing park?

    And thanks again Garet!

  6. This is kind of embarrassing but I need your help.

I have forgotten the name of the website that hosts the download for the beta of parkitect. I am very far behind with updates and would like to play Parkitect again, especially since dark rides are out!

I believe I remember the login info to download the newest version, just can't think of the website to go to download. Could one of you help ? Thanks in advance !

  7. I can speak for Disneyland at least as far as west side attractions goes. While working at Indy or Thunder we had several positions monitoring the queue, rotations at Indiana Jonea included greeter, fast pass validator, merge

, rotunda, and just before the elevator/staircase. These positions would be to keep the lines moving and assist guests.

Our leads would ask that we let guests leaving the queue know that leaving your place in line would result in them not being able to re enter. I personally would make exceptions for emergencies , most of the time it was someone in dire need of the restroom. As for line jumping , at Indy we had cameras in the temple hallway and rotunda areas, as the long hallway between the temple entrance and rotunda was a frequent place for people to jump over the wall and potentially skip the hour plus exterior wait on busy days. This was especially difficult with children under 46" as many parents who had been turned away for having a child that was too short, would go up the exit and jump over the fence with their little ones.

Of course we measure three times at Indy so these people were always found out , but this was an issue at Indy almost every five minutes or so. Safety first parents !

  8. Hi King,

I believe ODE stands for ordinary differential equation. There are some extremely intelligent physics/engineering geniuses that frequent these boards I feel like one of them will pop by and explain it as it is not my area of expertise.

According to math insight, it can be defined as...

An ordinary differential equation (ODE) is an equation that involves some ordinary derivatives (as opposed to partial derivatives) of a function. Often, our goal is to solve an ODE, i.e., determine what function or functions satisfy the equation.

  9. I have not watched Blackfish, and have no desire to. I won't miss the orca shows , haven't seen one since I was a little kid and I understand the direction they are going in with a more "natural" display for a new generation.

I am kind of surprised that on a forum that frequently discusses the mythical aqua trax doesn't have much to say about the new Rescue coaster! It looks awesome in the art with a decent bunny hop and the potential of great theming. I imagine this will be a Mack creation given their success with Manta.

It will also be nice when they get a hotel, although I'm surprised they wouldn't add a second day experience like Aquatics or Discovery Cove first, maybe down the road...

  10. Can any eagle eyed readers tell the difference between a star shape and a top scan part? I sure hope it is a star shape, as much as I love top scans a star shape would be the first in the US. I also wonder if these parts are just being stored here for elsewhere, safe from the brutal winter.

Edit: Upon further review: Top scans have this angled box/bar on each row of seats (on the inside between the innermost seat and where the row connects to the gondola) Staf Shapes do not have this part. I believe the parts at Carowimds are Mondial Top Scan versus Zierer Star Shape.

    Very sneaky sneaky CW....

  11. Some family members of went to Edaville this week and really enjoyed the new additions! Apparently there is a sky ride under construction and the water coaster is assembled. I live 10 minutes from here and my grandmother took me all the time as a child. I'm glad to see the place spruced up! I'll likely take my niece this month and will take lots of photos. I was wondering if anyone has been recently , the sky ride has me intrigued.

  12. Here are a few shots of my work in progress park, Arcadia Point. The big ride at the park right now is Katana, a B&M wing coaster. I just love the game allows you to make different sized and shaped barrel and zero g rolls, I am looking even more forward to updates and have high hopes for this software!
